that whirlwind thing is called "Heaven-sent", its an armor skill from sunbreak. it recovers sharpness and reduces stamina consumption. it goes to infinite at lvl 3 as long as you dont get knocked-back.

The roll dodges are sick, wish I could get the timing down even with evade window maxed I'm ass at souls rolls. But in souls games it comes natural.

souls game muscle memory can really fuck with your dodges in monhun, and vice versa. in souls game you roll when you release the button, in monhun you role just as the button is being pressed. also generally have much higher s in souls, so in souls you want to roll early, oftentimes right when you read the attack. in monhun you have to get used to waiting until the hitbox is right about to hit you to press the roll button.
