Vernet Thumb tips are considered the best balance of quality to value in the magic world,
you can get yours at the link below.
Make sure you take your thumb size into consideration, I've linked the ones I used in the video,
I have average sized male hands, you may need to go larger or smaller based on your thumbs.

Happy to have found you. Thanks for your clever take on this.
Thanks Gail but I can’t take credit for it.
You deserve more likes than what you have atm
Thanks!
Difficult to find any creative or even even basic thumb tip magic tricks on TH-cam. I really like your idea of turning classic magic into more modern applications hope you expand on that idea some more
Thanks Ronald! If you haven’t yet, take a look at my bank night video where I show another application of a thumb tip. More to come!
Ronald, December 26 I’m doing another video on thumbtip Magic, thought I’d give you a heads up!
Excellent tips. I picked up a couple tips even after using this tip for years and years! Bravo
Orange thumb tip? Trump could be a magician! :-) I do like that technique you taught, never seen that before, going to give it a try. Thanks again!
It’s a cool technique right?
Very interesting. I always thought thumb tips were silly....now not so much
They look goofy but there is an incredible amount of really great magic you can do with them.
I believe the second technique you teach is a Slydini creation, and it IS much more natural. Very good teaching. Thanks.👍
Great variation of that classic trick! The thumb-into-the-fist part always felt strange to me, good to know a way to avoid it, thanks for sharing! 👍
This is so explained 👏
Thank you: I have been doing it all wrong.. thank you sir 🙏
thanks for tutorial suggestions 👍🏻
never have seen the 2nd technique taught
My pleasure 😊
That’s a fantastic technique you have there, I like it very much. 👍😊👍

Good stuff. TY.
Very glad you enjoyed it!
How to show two empty hands but not flash the thumb tip
Having loaded the tip onto the right thumb quickly hold both palms with fingers spread to the audience but with the tip behind the left hand. Then cross your wrists and show the backs of the hands with the tip behind the back of the left hand. Everyone in front of you will think that they have seen both hands empty. Ladies, if you use nail polish don't forget to wash the tip in washing-up liquid before you paint the thumb tip nail.
The first thumb tip that I ever had was made of metal... This was back in the late 70's!
Wish they were still easy to get those type. There were some really cool applications that don’t work so well with the plastic and vinyl varieties
Yo, am thinking about all of this, but can you show me where you got the second thumb tip, the one you threw behind you...
can you give me a link for that one,
You want a vernet soft thumbtip. I have average size mens hands and the medium size tip works well for me. If you have smaller or larger hands look at junior or king size. www.penguinmagic.com/p/387
WHY does the magician need to poke it in his other hand...it's such a tell-tale move
Can these be found to match darker skinned users? I'd like to start trying this :-)
Steven, this is actually a pet peeve of mine, magicians INSIST that the color of the thumb tip doesn’t matter, ok yes it should be invisible to the audience but the only color they make it in is for light skin. If it really doesn’t matter that much why don’t we make them all lime green?
I gave up watching when I saw the thumb tip exposed for the third time during the silk vanish.
Holding a clenched fist is not natural. Hate that sequence of moves, which are all a big tell.
