    Back in the late 60s and 70s they had all sorts of pulls in Magic Kits and to this day I still have the ones I got back in then and still use them every now and then, however like you said if it's not broke don't fix it (before I forget, great Review 😎) back in 1976 when I was 16 (I am 62 now) I went to the local Magic Store that one of my high school teachers told me about and that day I bought my first thumb tip,
    When I was not sure at the time if I could actually get away with using it as for the Magician at the store he proved to me that I could with practice and to prove it he he showed me one of the tricks that we can do with it after he was done he showed me the thumb tip he used, as it turned out he painted his silver just to prove a Magician could use one no matter what colour it is.

      When I was a kid, the very first book on magic I ever read gave you instructions for making your own pull. The routine was for disappearing a lit cigarette and ten year old me irritated my mother to no end by ruining umpteen of her lit cigarettes as I made them vanish up my sleeve.

    Universal pull is on my wish list. Someone I knew saw what the thump tip was on Utube, told me and still fooled him by finger palming the thump tip, showing my real thum wiggle then putting it on the thum after showing both hands "empty". Thought I dropped the silk was looking on the ground. Hahaha.

  • @HumbugShow
    @HumbugShow 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It's funny how us old magicians know that a dirty hand if handled correctly is never noticed. If you worry about heat, your understanding of proof and attention focus need work. Coins and cards can be exited dirty with a good hand wash.
    For the times where you really want to blow someone's mind, learn about topits. Most videos suck but will give you the basics. Carl Cloutier (?) has the best material and you learn sleeving too.
    Once you have put one in a jacket, you can figure out how to put one in a hoodie, then a vest. Warning on vests, your pitch needs work but a well practiced topit will even fool magicians.
    Then when some audience member yells out "he has a thumb tip" you simply topit the thumb out and you are now a legit miracle worker 👍

    People only actively burn your hands upon vanish. Before they know there is a vanish...the ITT can be concealed...you should be able to create the FEELING of empty hands...and oncee the package is gone...POOF...empty to start...empty to finish. MAGIC. Totally get it...so much prep...not for me.

  • @westonding8953

    This product sounds very excessive. Fooling magicians is "not necessary" and even if that was your focus, I think they can still put two and two together to get the concept of how you did this. Furthermore the "starting dirty" could possibly already drop hints for them as they likely know what to look for.
