best way to tame a basilisk: you need 1x metal foundation, 1x lightpet, x amount of drake eggs throw down light pet, whistle passiv, place metal foundation on the lightpet (make sure its stuck in middle of foundation), throw eggs on foundation (make sure eggs arent floating too high), lure basilisk to foundation, basilisk will aggro to lightpet and eat an egg every 5 min, wait in renderdistance till done. gg you perfect tamed a basilisk
If all Rock Drake eggs are spoiled you can just delete them with this command "cheat destroyall DroppedItemGeneric_FertilizedEgg_RockDrake_NoPhysics_C"

One TLC I'd like to see on the Basilisk is a petrifying gaze. I know it would be scary in poe, but we already have dinos that freeze. so turning them to stone wouldnt be too crazy right?
Here's a tip to kill rock drakes efficiently with another drake, If you position your drake in a nest hole, go into climb mode and point your camera down. Move around until you see the crosshairs and spam left click. Basically allows you to spam the pounce attack that does a shit load of damage, sort of like what you did at 4:55.
I just wanted to say that your ultimate ark series convinced me to go back to ark. I played this game for about 1400 hours pre official release about 5 years ago, and watching Ultimate Ark convinced me to go back to the game for the added story and to ascend all the way. One month after renting my servers and my rexes, allos, yuts and daeos are ready to take on the tek cave.... so many baby dinos killed along the way. I will be skipping scorched earth though lol, that was my last memory playing back in the day and I HATED that map. Thanks Syntac!

One time I tried using a trap to tame the Basilisk and it still burrowed.Only it was glitched and wouldn't come back out, even when I took the foundation out from underneath it. Eventually I just let my drake tank it until it got hungry and ate the eggs. I much prefer this method, less headaches lol. Plus I don't mind taming them, I just HATE finding them. Took me like a week just to find a 130... everything else was like 40 and below.
there are much easier ways to tame a baslisk than this, traps like this often bug out the tame. kite it is easy enough on just about any tame, there is another method too i wont share (trade secrets) but you only need 1 foundation and something that will hold its aggro.

The portal is a no build area apparently because of the ascension cinematic, dont know how that matters but its what i have heard XD. Oooh she's so pretty, i would call her "Azura" ^_^. I dont think basilisks are allowed in boss arenas.
Basilisks and Poison Wyverns have an aim assist, methinks. Otherwise the breath attack would feel useless when players have trouble angling the breath to hit targets.
Are you going to do the purple osd on extinction, its something I personally would love to see you attempt solo but i know how difficult and quite uneeded it is
If you want to know if a creature has good stats or not, get the ARK Smart Breeder program. It shows you the level ups of each stat when its tamed, wild and bred.
Old video but maybe you need this for the future: Do not use a Drake to get eggs. I see that mistake all the time. use the drake to get to the trench. use a REAPER to get the Eggs. it can jump into pretty much all holes to reach them and take out all attacking Drakes. That is my to go method. I usually go out with 10 to 20 eggs, depending how much I cna carry around. Of course this requires a Cryopod but with that eggs are easy peasy
Syntac, for most people it seems that the egg location you got your first drake in (on the cluster) respawns eggs super quickly all you have to do is grab it, leave the trench, and when you come back another egg in that area will likely have spawned. Thats how it is for me on several servers so hope that tip helps! You can easily farm high level eggs like this.
