The two things that went wrong... 1) You didn't know in advance that a legendary orbital supply drop can only be ended after 7 waves (and the loot gets better until wave 14 after which you can still keep going but the loot does not improve further.) 2) You put your shield generator too close to the drop. Drops cause any nearby structures to be instantly demolished when you eject items. If the shield generator had been a little bit further away it would have stayed intact even after you ejected the loot. I hope this helps. Its not intended to be criticism. Keep up the fun videos!
No, maximum damage I've got with Theri's is 4.359. It's more than the gigs, but my server is Boosted and it took soooooooo maaaaaanyyyyyyyy time that I think it's not worthed. (Sorry for the bad English, I'm portuguese
Why do that when everyone and there mother raises 1k melee gigas. Why be unique and breed a different dino when you can just mutate gigas for every mission and drop.

Look, Syntac, I love your videos; you do great. If I wasn't in a shelter looking for a home, I'd pay to be a member. But I've just got to say, as a PS4 player who can't afford a nice gaming pc; there's no way you could do this drop solo without the S+/SS shield generator, unless you put the leash where the foundation was and put eight or ten of those gigas in the leash. The S+/SS shield generator doesn't need a foundation to be placed and most importantly, has no charge up time. In true vanilla fashion, the forcefield would be destroyed before it could activate, as corrupted dinos can destroy any structure, including tek. Plus, the dinos are doing little to no damage to the shield because they keep bouncing off the shield and for the most part, wild dinos do not attack structures while moving. PS: Replace the dinos you lost with extinction dinos. Your rule is three per map and a shoulder pet, but you've technically got room for two more if the total you bring to genesis is 15, since there are no unique shoulder pets in extinction. You could at least replace Tesla. Just a thought.
With good giga saddles and gigas 6-8, a pig or an owl and a dino leash they aint that bad. Just gotta be prepared. Easier with 2 peeps obviously. Lol yeah lots of gamer girls play ark 🤔

I def like using rexes when I'm solo'ing a purple, along with some gigas. Their superior healthpool is really helpful for body blocking and tanking damage from the enraged.
-I know this is late: Syntac you should make a ring around the drop with leashes so they stay in the ring around the drop but outside the drop itself, then set them on wander aggressive.
Always set the Tek shield radius to 10. That way you could have stood inside, grabbed all the items, and then died if you needed to get out and come back. The shield might have broken but you'd have had more time if they were farther away. The strategy I used for the purple drop was to have a pair of mate boosted gigas on either side of the drop (was the same location) and just circle it with my giga, whistling to attack/move to when they were either idle or too close to the drop. My shield didn't die until wave 12 and my gigas are worse than yours... LMAO But I really feel for you. That sucks that you didn't get your things. My server disconnected me right as one last trike was attacking the drop and when I was able to reconnect it was gone. That was 12 waves and would have been insane loot. Ark is great, isn't it? lol EDIT: I did notice that the SS shield blows up when you eject the items but the S+ one doesn't. Maybe that helped me out a bit with drops. I do know why you have SS on this server instead of S+ so that's unfortunate.
Episode 1 of Ultimate Ark was the reason I subbed, forgot about it when you took a break for genesis, and then fell in love with the genesis series. Do UA on Genesis that’s gonna be dope👌🏽
Flew too close to the Sun Icarus. I would never even think about doing a legendary drop without someone else to back me up. There's some boss battles that are easier than legendary orbital
@@bigmike15511 *sigh* when i feel fancy i tame desert titan (it can actually haul alot of loot) Park it over the drop and put it on aggresive. I bring one or two hyper giga with a shitton of melee to eat away while the titan blaps the wyverns and the stuff that gets stuck miles away. Some healing with owl in between waves when needed and purple drop done. Nothing cool about it, just using what the game has to offer.
Just saying theres no way youll do gamma king titan without the titans, you gotta ride the forest and tank the damage then whistle the others on the king, then you gotta have a ton of gigas and rexes killing the corrupted dinos and destroy the vein the appears. But gl if you dont use them :)
Syn, for the alpha brute hunt missions make sure you use Rexs and Allos. I learned how much damage the Allos do with their bleed. So basically T-Rexs tank and the Allosaurus do a ton of damage. So make new lines old line what ever. Gigas, at least on official rage. And this is with 100+ armour saddle. Also it’s 7 rounds. Not 5
Sooo, we kept losing shields, i guess you can’t pick them up by the osd... we then decided to place it on a quetzal, and we wouldn’t have to rebuild it everytime 😀

In a recent patch from wild card, orbital supply drops that are legendary can only be ended after seven rounds.. My advice would be to breed your Gigas to around 1 million health, 20,008 damage and 75,000 stamina.
My first purple osd all I got were enraged Rexes, reapers, and rock drakes No clue why it was like that but, me and my friends almost lost 3 really good gigas
Oh my GURD I'm early also don't worry man when your having fun producing good content it doesn't matter as I think I can speak for all but we subscribed bc you make good content I don't mind when a certain episode of a certain series come sout bc ill enjoy it either way
Not sure on the timing but maybe could have ridden venom over and yolo jumped down with a whip to grab as many items before dying since your body has a much longer despawn time? That's such a bummer to lose all of those items though. That was a lot of work to just lose to a despawn timer.

Something that has always helped me is a whip. Spam the whip and it picks up items. Then you can gather the items quickly.

you should try putting a daeodon on passive healing inside the tek shield so it passively heals your gigas while fighting

Its 7 mandatory rounds on the legendary drop and any round after that just boosts the loot quality.

You can also use the tek gauntlets' launch punch to bypass the weight restriction of flying with the tek suit

The shield breaks both times because you have the shield generator right next to the drop and the drop breaks the shield when it ejects the items.

You can disable crypod sickness if you have pve settings, since it is the intended default on official now anyway.

Reapers can bury underground and you'll need a parasaur to detect and a WYVERN to get them out and flap with it's Wings
In genesis, the lunar biome, you could kill tek dinos to get you element dust to get your element for the rep.
if u have offline dmg disabled use metal spike wall around the drop with different character

Synyac the purple osds have 8 round. Rounds 0-7 to complete and then you can end it after wave 7.
