Few months ago I discovered that when you do that dive-like thing on the ground as far as you can use it - you can press shift and look straight up and you will not latch onto the ground/cliff/whatever but you will continue gliding at that speed. Since i discovered it i use it all of the time and i think that is one of the best ways of travelling in ARK
I doubt genesis will hit ultimate ark aaaany time soon. Syn will have a seperate series or more likely toss it in his cluster for months to get his bearings and figure everything out first. Gotta figure out the maps goals and the best ways to accomplish them quickly before ult. Ark. Ps: not talking shit its an obvious and smart thing to do.

I find it amusing that the further we get into this series, the lower the quality/size of the base becomes. I'm not complaining in any way, as I understand there is a LOT to do in Aberration in order to meet the 20 episode time limit, but it's an interesting correlation.
I found a great way to farm nameless venom is with a karkinos on passive and a magalosaur, rockdrake or reaper. Have the karkinos hold the alpha nameless and hop off the karkinos in a safe-ish area, endless nameless will then spawn that you can eat with your other creature. Surface reapers suck for xp, but queens give a ton, too tough for most tames tho.

Hello Syntac, Just wanted to remind you of the tip I left on the last video about utilizing invisibility for egg hunting, Also I wanted to introduce a app for ark I use for determining dino stats. It's called ark smart breeding app. It's very useful, as it allows you to see the point distribution of your dinos between the different stats. Once you get the app installed and setup the file directories all you have to do is go in game and go to the option wheel on a dino. Somewhere there you will see export dino. This will export the dino to a file on your computer which the app will be able to import and you can see a whole bunch of details about your dino from colors, stat distrubution, taming efficiency and much more. I recommend looking into it as it makes breeding much more convenient
When it comes to stats, on difficulty 5, I think 40+ levels in a stat is good. 45+ levels is really good, and 50 would be really, really rare. With creatures like wyverns and drakes, which don't get a taming buff, you could probably lower that by 10, and look for stats over 30 levels. I use the super spy glass in my game, so I can see every stat in terms of levels on every creature. I think Dododex tells you the same information, so just look at that (the stat levels) instead of the "good" or "very good" rating it gives.
Console button for cuddle (or any action) is Y on Xbox - probably X on Playstation. Re: Karkinos - Wow, really? Karkinos are my favorite tame on Abb! I don’t know how great they would do in the arena (never been in there), but for me a karkinos is a must for resource gathering and fighting, and they are absolute tanks. We had 300 max level on our servers and my karkinos all had 30 - 50k health. We used them to steal eggs too, because they don’t take fall damage. We walked them off a cliff into the red zone, parked them at the top of the nest area, climbed in, got eggs, climbed out, and the karkinos easily took out any drakes that came after us.

Syn best way I find to get levels for your reaper baby is to kill reaper queens. Just wear them down with your rock drake, and finish them off with a good shotgun so you get all the xp and you're not sharing it with your drake. Just make sure you have your light pet on so she doesn't try to snatch you off your drake!
If you cryopod a baby when he ask for imprint you can change the imprint method. Example: Baby wants some kibble... if you cryopod the baby it will change for something like "it wants to cuddle, wants to walk with you". It happens all the time. At least in cluster.
Ive had one pop up right outside my blue zone base. Burrowed out of the ground right outside my fence and stayed there trying to get in running around my base until I took my megalo couple out to exterminate. Only happened the one time but it can happen. Not sure why
First off, the last cave here is super easy because you can just climb on the walls/ceiling with your drake all the way to the artefact and don't have to fight anything. Secondly, if you want to know what the stats of your creature are like you can get a mod to do that. I understand if you don't want to do it because it's a bit cheaty, but I don't see the difference if you're going to look them up on dodo decks anyway. Great once again though dude.
Dododex does work for Wyverns and Rock drakes, purely because they get their stats from their wild parents. i believe Wyverns lose about 1000 health when tamed, so its not hard to figure out the stats of them your drake had Very Low health, High Stamina, Very high oxygen and average everything else, except for movement which was Very Low
You were talking about being half way through your series and the second part of Genesis coming out a year after the first part. Will you make some un-related filler episodes? Like an Ultimate Ark Base Build or Ultimate Ark Farm Build on your favorite map or prep on Extinction since you ended there. Just to keep things fresh every so often too keep people hyped for this series.

If you want metal, and nameless venom go to the surface cave entrance next to the lake, you can get sooo much metal in the cave and if you don't have yournlight on nameless spawn, easy for metal and venom and very close to your base
Drake's HP is low and dmg is mediocre for that difficulty but it will be good enough to get you more eggs at least. Also for general Aberration XP stuff, you get a surprising amount from the fish in the rivers with an explorer note buff.
@Syntac By chance in some later videos could you craft a chainsaw and tame some tek dinos, parasaur or raptor will be fine but parasaurs are easier to get. Why I bother commenting this, you get an insane amount of electronics with the chainsaw and along with element dusts and a heap ton of scrap metal. My settings are a little different from yours but you may still get a good amount.

And I've been meaning to ask this in your previous latest videos but I can't seem to figure out what settings you had for your imprinting dinos speed. Some of your viewers/fans were almost helpful but I can't find the video they mentioned of your settings for imprinting.
You don't have to go to the blue zone for nameless venom. There's an entrance to the surface with lots of metal not far from your location. It's crawling with nameless.

Really nice rock colours, and i also hatched a better rock drake instead of my previous one dying cuz its relatives found out he was tamed...it was a max level egg then it came out with a good mixture of reds and blacks, what should i name it?
The stats are actually pretty good compared to the ones I got the first one I got was it's oxygen was so high investment there was no sets in melee and or anything.

You can use stegos and shotguns in Rockwell btw. Good health plus good saddle and you should be good.

Most of the stats are pretty doodoo, but that stamina is actually pretty high.
A tip to work out the food stat of a baby is it should be the same as the health.
