Just bought 3 new hw 97s and looking to get these done to just smooth them out and make them more quiet for back garden plinking while my two lads learn out to shoot before we venture onto ft target shooting, will what your doing achieve this ?

Yes, the tune work eliminates all of the mechanical noises associated with a springer. On the 97's, a secondary silencer can also be fitted.
