    Nice Video. I also stripped down a .22 Hw95. fitted in a TBT Kit which contains a Top Hat and Spring Guide. also polished the Piston's skirt (not with sandpaper, took a metal polish), polished the spring Ends, cleaned everything, applyed new Grease and put the gun back together. Shoots now very nice and smooth. No noises when cocking the airrifle now

    If you don't mind my asking, what size puch do you need for the trigger group pins? Wonderful instructional video the best one I've seen on this rifle👍

    Good video, although it's not necessary to remove the cocking arm pin at all, for maintenance or tuning, in fact better to leave it as it is.

      It shows how to remove it. They sometimes do need to be removed, so all good but cheers for the comment Pete.

    Nice video, I've got a 95 which I'm currently trying to get set up nice, currently running with a tbt spring and guides, and too much power, (which I will reduce before taking out obviously.) Any idea why it fires the likes of jsb and aa pellets say 11-13ftlb depending on weight but when I put a h&n ftt (14.66g 5.53mm) in it averages 14.5 ftlb, is this because it's the best fit to the barrel? Also what's your thoughts on using a short stroke extension? Thanks. !!

      Yip, your barrel obviously likes the H&N's. Sounds like you need to remove one & a half coils.

    Is it advisable to remove the piston sleeve?

    Best video 👍. How much is the coil turn? I heard that 31 turns is the best.

      It would depend on which spring/spring wire gauge

    Any idea why when i put my spring back in one way i get 11.2ftlbs and when i flip it it gives 10ftlb... I cant see anything difference

    I was going to get this rifle, tomorrow morning. They say, these are the best break barrels outthere. Should I go for it or not? Go for the deluxe version of this, or choose something else? Keep in mind, that I can get a rifle with a scope, because of stupid laws. That's why I'm after this. Any help would be much appriciated.

      Hi Buddy. In my opinion the 95 is the best offering when it comes to the break barrel spring powered guns. I would definitely recommend buying one.

      @@lsduk is the HW80 not better?

    • @6lr6ak6
      @6lr6ak6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@chrisblake2586 no the 80 isn't necessarily better, has a wider cylinder so pushes more air out, there normally around 18ft/lb but the 95s shoot better, are lighter, they definitely are the best break barrel out there, my opinion would be spent a bit more and go for the 97, they really are unbeatable and don't get talked into gettin a TX200 there good but not as good.

  • @Happy-Me.

    Hi Geoff is it normal that after a full strip and lube that the HW95 will drop in power for a while until it settles in?

    • @lsduk
      @lsduk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really, no. Could be that you have slightly damaged the seal when pushing the piston back in, or you haven't lubricated the seal.

    • @Happy-Me.
      @Happy-Me. 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lsduk Thanks Geoff. I didn't remove the piston and seal this time because of having to remove the barrel, (mine is the HW98) but I added Moly to the Spring, Spring guide, Top hat and cocking shoe. I also adjusted the trigger for a smoother pull and added Moly to the sears and latch rod. I use QYS streamline pellets that are now running at 10.6 to 10.7 from 11.4. There's no noise at all when cocking the gun all is smooth and quiet.

      @@lsduk when they punch the 4 lugs out , the silly ones as you pointed out i noticed when i felt inside that there was very rough edges that would possibly cause scouring on the seal both on the way in and out that needs to be smoothed off before rebuild great video thanks.

      If you use a ball end punch and hold the receiver tight, it should go with a sharp wack.
