Thank you for responding! Excuse my lack of knowledge but would you by chance know if one would have have to manually change/customize a k5la horn to have the manual value delayed sound?
This was a rare train. There is military training base in southeastern North Carolina. The equipment is moved by trains which happens a couple times a year.
That latter one with the two people outrunning the train intersection, it took less than two minutes for the train to pass and they decided to risk their lives for just two minutes of waiting, ridiculous 🙄
I would hate to live even remotely close to a rail line in North America with horns blasting all day long. Don't they have proper gates and signals at the crossings or what's the deal?
Gates at crossings are totally unnecessary. If the crossing lights are flashing red and the bell is ringing, and the loud horn is blasting, isn’t that enough to tell you to stop, a train is coming?
6:13 The train taking the curve with that kind of bloom effect looks pretty cool
Unstoppable train 777: _finally a worthy opponent, our battle shall be legendary!_
Lol
Quarantine is helping me rediscover my love for trains. Thanks for sharing. The quality is awesome!
Thanks!!! Glad you enjoy!
31:32 I wasn’t expecting a Heritage unit on a 10 locomotive lash up
1:26 I can see the 11’8 bridge
Everytime I see a Norfolk Southern engine, memories of being a kid in West Virginia pop up in my head.
Cool!
@@ncrailfan1869, yep!
6:18 beautiful horn and beautiful doppler
The sounds of trains, sounds like rain, I sleep well when raining!
0:32 that train was zooming out that corner and it was almost fast and sonic

My cousin barging into my room be like:
6:06 I always come back to this video just to hear that unique horn sound.. don’t know the type but it’s probably the best horn I’ve ever heard tbh
k5la
I love the first one. Engineer gave emergency responders a horn race they'll never forget
NS911, someone called 911 and a platoon of M1A2 Abrams responded. Noice
What is also great is seeing the Illinois Terminal Heritage Unit, as well as a Union Pacific Locomotive in a Norfolk Southern train.
Love it!.....fast train & horns means get the heck outta my way!!
Thanks!!!

Thanks!!!
Yep
Is nice
6:14 can anyone tell me what kind of horn is on that train? It’s such a crisp sound lol
K5LA Horn. It’s manual value so when you release the horn, it lags for a bit.
Thank you for responding! Excuse my lack of knowledge but would you by chance know if one would have have to manually change/customize a k5la horn to have the manual value delayed sound?
Video: Fast freight trains.
Me: 2x speed
The bird won’t move out the way
A lot of these really capture that big GE diesel sound! Lots of great dissonant horns too!
Yes they do!
32:55 nissan: dont mine me
I believe this video involving Norfolk southern
A lot of the CN trains on south of the saint Laurence river go at these speeds all the time
Cool. I've seen a lot of train videos on TH-cam of CN going fast.
Yeah my grandparents live close to railroad track and the fastest train ive ever seen probably did 80 mph!
I'll say one thing that I like the freight trains better than passenger trains Xavier
6:03 *you have now entered heaven*
I love it !!
Cool! Thanks!!!
What is the location of the station platform you are filming from? What city is this?
Durham’s Amtrak Station. Durham, North Carolina
Nice video Xavier. Where you gonna be attending college at?
Thanks!!! I’ll be attending NC State University.
@@ncrailfan1869 awesome. My coworker attends school there already. Good luck.
If you ever entertain thoughts of Xavier University in Ohio, there's a Hunter Ave less than a quarter mile from campus. Just saying
Cool video!!!
Thanks!!!
Great buddy your freight lengths are out of site great thanks put a new steam video on tonight enjoy Brian
Thanks
1:25 NS 911 comes by, how did you get this shot of a heritage?
EVEN more rare, it's on piggyback mode
rare still, it's having military tanks, wow what a shot you got (also it's short)
This was a rare train. There is military training base in southeastern North Carolina. The equipment is moved by trains which happens a couple times a year.
I didnt know they can carry thousands and thousand pounds of cars and tanks
2:36 where is this located?
Durham, NC at the Amtrak Station
@@ncrailfan1869 thank you
Cool video 👌
Thanks
6:49 what horn is that
K5LA
1:24 wow! US Army in borders of the United States? That's a really rare situation!
That latter one with the two people outrunning the train intersection, it took less than two minutes for the train to pass and they decided to risk their lives for just two minutes of waiting, ridiculous 🙄
The second train is number ‘’911’’ and it’s transporting tanks
True xD
What's with the sirens at the beginning
Ambulance responding to a call.
I can see you're at the Amtrak station 🚅🚉
What Amtrak station are you at?
Durham, NC
@@ncrailfan1869 Oh
You want to see fast .. there is a CN train that is going almost twice as fast as these trains are traveling.. search it up
CN's highest speed is no higher than the US max freight speed any Class 1 is running, 70MPH.
Norfolk Southern trains vs ambulance, who will win? 🚅 vs 🚑
5:50 I've seen a 10 engine train without any load
Just a power move.
where is this?
North Carolina
Also what did you record on
This video was filmed on the Canon Vixia HF R600
Pomona yard!
Aye yo we have the same name
6:25
Absolutely gorgeous ❤
Thanks!!!
