@@railfan509 I always think of the accuracy of the wheels on each car that keep the damn things on the track and the factories that cast them. The pounding the tracks take. The engineering that keeps the tracks in place without drilling to bedrock. I believe railroads are one of the most important inventions of Man. I love them.
@@railfan509 Being a fan of ancient alien theory, I can imagine how people once thought that anything that flew and breathed fire was a dragon. Watching this train approach with a caveman mentality it DOES seem like an approaching dragon. There's something ominous yet majestic about a train.

Scary night.

Fortunately Japan is a smaller country geographically. These trains have multi-day runs of 1000 miles and more - gotta get that stuff where it’s going FAST.
