I own a 2006 Trx 450er and I have to say that Michael's quad is in the best shape here.. Out of these two quads. I would take the Kfx 450r...Amazing Video..
For those that didn’t know the same guy that designed the lobo 250R chassis Doug Roll he designed the KFX450R they handle very similar to a lobo

when you said 3k budget, i thought for sure you guys would end up with blaster/400ex lts,kfx or dvx because here in canada we dnt find clapped out trx 450r's for less than 3700
Its hard to finds deals for sure! Keep in mind 3700 CAD is less in terms of USD
We can't find s decent qaud for 3k$ here in indiana maybe some cheap China junk

I think they should bring the trx and the kfx450s back but at at least 48” wide so they can compete with the Yfz450 in my opinion there is nothing better than the TRX450R trx400ex and the trx250r there the best hands down
By the way I love all quads I just have a preference for Honda’s but there all great in my opinion

That's cool that you're making these vids man. I always thought it was odd that you could ride one machine, like a YZ125, hop on like a YZ250 and feel like it was SO much faster, but then when you put them side by side.....and they're very close.

If I spotted the stock intake tube on the KFX you're choking it to death, that's what killed the KFX power, you can make an LTR tube work or just get a fci, it'll feel like you doubled the hp. I made a toe adjustment to mine when I first got it and it never felt twitchy at high speeds. I miss my KFX I never should have sold it, I liked it more than the yfz and TRX and I bought it by accident. I was going to buy a LTR but it sold while I was on my way to look at it and I found the KFX on fbmp and one quick rip was all it took for me to load it in the truck had a few good years with it.
Fci made my KFX come alive!!!!

oh yeah I heard Suzuki worked with Kawasaki for a couple of years or so to develop the KFX. Not sure if those rumors are true but there's a lot of similarities. The only similarity that does not there is that the Suzuki much faster
When I heard that noise I thought it was the motor and I thought it sounded like shit and I rewatch this clip everything out with the handlebars squeaking lol
