In the Curve for Mixed Inhibition, You pointed out that the curve shifts left when the inhibitor binds to the enzyme alone thereby decreasing it's affinity and increasing it's Km value isn't the curve meant to shift right in accordance with the increase in Km value instead?

saw this too- yes it was said incorrectly at the end of the video- the line for the inhibitor shifts right on the X axis for increased KM and lower affinity for substrate

I get what you’re trying to do, but as an enzymologist some of these examples and metaphors are misleading and don’t represent what’s happening. Could cause issues for student understanding later in life.
