Good reminder of enzymology course which was one of the hardest topics to digest. The drawing at 1:24 reminded me of a quantum physics concept called quantum tunneling which is a shortuct taken by electrons from point A to point B without the bothering of taking the long path just like enzymes :)
ty so so much for this! i officially give up with our biochem professor. this one video has been more helpful to me than all his lectures combined. the pace is perfect and it reminds me a bit of how i sound when i'm doing active recall as well. lifesaver!!
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis ofc, I sent your cell organelles video to all my friends already ❣️the little sentences like lysosomes are the lord of destructions helped us all a lot. Thank you .
Hi love your videos they're helping me a bunch for my MCAT studying, but I have a question. Our Kaplan book states that phosphatases is a type of transferase, but you categorize it as a hydrolysis could you help me understand which one it would technically fall under?
Wow. You are showing an inaccurate representation of a peptide bond. Why are you talking about peptide bonds and peptide bond hydrolysis in an enzyme nomenclature video? Then you were okay for a bit until you got to lyases where you claim lyase reactions are reversible. All enzymatic reactions are reversible, as you well know, based on chemical equilibrium.

You’re very intelligent!

I'm so glad! I wish you success!
I'm so grateful for helping me understand the classifications. God bless you
Happy to help!
What I like in you, that you explane every single word you say.... tysm DR
My pleasure!
Thank you soo much, I literally love your light humor while teaching ❤.
You're very welcome!
Would you please help me by sharing?

You're simply the best...but increase the font we can't see
Thank you for your honest feedback!
I appreciate you!
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis Welcome sir 💗
Thank you very much for all you do!!! God bless you!
7 enzyme clasess since 2018!
Translocases were added.
First time! This was like a rollercoaster. Just on and on! But I somehow understood. Wow
:)
I wish I could find this channel sooner😮
I appreciate you so much! I hope you enjoy the rest of my biochemistry playlist!

Mucho appreciado sir
Thank you 😊
when are the metabolism lectures going to be uploaded?
Still working on them!
They should be uploaded by the end of 2023.
Thank You
You're welcome!
Very nice
Thanks!
Sir ……. Thank you sooooo much ❤❤🥹
What about the seventh category Translocase?
You’re correct!
I forgot to mention them!
thx soo much but where is the video about B6 i coudnt find it 😍

Which app use to edit this please tell me
But the video and explanation are great!
Obrigado!
🙏
Merci❤
De rien!
LIttLe HOT enzymes is the nomenclature for enzymes
"when you study medicine later"
me watching this for biochemistry ;🗿
:)
But there are 7 groups of enzymes now, since August 2018. You didn't even mention translocases.
You’re correct!
Tyere is no end in mind

What do you mean by 'incorrect peptide bond'.
That's correct!!!
Yeah 😤😡🤬🤬🤬@@JavanKibet-lv7kw
Not all enzymatic reactions are reversible...
