  • More stumps found that had to be removed. If you look closely at the dipperstick, you can see the big crack on top near the bucket. This was just before the dipperstick failed and had to be repaired, video #17. Videos are not in the exact order......

I get a little envious at the controllable thumb, mine is the size smaller backhoe, but the thumb doesn't move.

If you look closely this was just before the dipper stick broke. When your looking straight at the bucket you can see the huge crack. I had the bucket off in a following video doing the repair. I love this rig and couldn't do anything without it. Thanks for watching.

@@udgrin2 i have the same Backhoe on my Grand L3560 . I also have the Hydraulic thumb on my unit, I ordered it with both a 18" and 24" bucket . I love the unit. Just a suggestion , I usually leave the stumps longer so i can use it as a lever to help pry the stump out of the ground, i usually use the 18" bucket for this task and use the 24" for easier tasks. This unit was an upgrade from my B2920 with loader and Backhoe. At times i miss my smaller tractor, it was so compact and could get into tight spaces. But i guess there are advantages either way, and the hydraulic Thumb sure comes in handy! I am considering fabricating a extend a boom (adding 3 feet of reach ) to the backhoe as well. We will see what happens , future project perhaps ? i wish Kubota would also have made removable teeth for their BH 92 ( teeth are removable but stubs still stick out) so you cant make a smooth cut. I fixed that issue and made myself a grader blade edge and welded two other teeth ( using the centre 2 teeth and welded it to underneath the blade) so that the blade sits on top of the 2 welded teeth , so i could pin on or take it off the bucket (18" 4 tooth bucket ) Thanks for sharing your Video !

    young man ,
find the end of the roots first then work your way back to the stump , will be alot easy on u and your machine , every time / if u used your backhoe , used full throttle / wnat hurt your engine !
