Love this! It definitely took me more than 2 hours, but I did make it wider. I still made it over the course of maybe 6-7 hours today, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how easily and quickly the fringe could be done. Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Not gonna lie. I OWN the authentic in that same exact color and I STILL got it wrong! And I even use the clothes every single day! Only goes to show how damn good these *amzaccs* are visually. Now guessing which is the fake by feeling them both in my hands is another story.
Great tutorial! This is one of my first orojects and its turning out good so far, i have a question tho, its it supposed to be smooth in the edges? Cuz so far mine has a little bump each time i start or finish a row
Hi! I love this scarf! It is my first crochet project. Great instructions, but I have one question, am I supposed to repeat rows 2, then 3, then 2, then 3... etc.? I was just repeating row 3 over and over.... 6 sc. Wondering if I need to pull it all out... Thanks!
Hmm, that shouldn’t be happening. You are probably increasing a stitch somewhere where you should be skipping. Remember on odd rounds, you should single crochet in the first stitch, but then you should SKIP the next stitch.
I haven’t fully watched the video yet so sorry if you already mentioned it, but if I want to change colors, when would be the best time to start? (Timestamp would work)
Sorry, another question - I have watched the video over and over and I cannot tell the difference in what you do for row 2 vs. row 3. It seems like the exact same steps....?
Beautiful colors😊👍 and you look beautiful with those colors out in the snow 👏👏👏 What color did you use? Here the message about the yarn on their website: Note: Due to the heavy saturation of the hand painted colors, some bleeding may occur when washing. As a hand-painted yarn, colors may vary from skein to skein. Your scarf bleed a lot? I love the colors, but wonder if after washing it won’t look as pretty 😔. Please let me know.
This is similar to the linen stitch in crochet but except when you crochet the linen stitch, you’re only doing your single crochets in the chain space instead of doing it in the first stitch and then crocheting only in the chain space.
I always pause the video as I go while I'm learning. Then play through. Then play and pause again. Its unique to each person but it's possible to make it work for yourself!
Umm, beginner here. You started with the first stitch started and I was lost from the beginning. You also went too quickly for beginners. Retitling might be helpful. But, hey beautiful work.
im a beginner (started crocheting 2 days ago) and the tutorial was at a perfect speed 👍🏼 very helpful can’t wait to do this tomorrow!
So glad to hear that! Good luck!
As a beginner who just started crocheting a couple weeks ago, this is a great tutorial! So excited about my new scarf!
Yay!!😍

2:53 Row 2
4:01 Row 3
Thanks for the great tutorial! I cranked out two of these today and can’t wait to gift them to friends
Awesome!!!
THE MOSS STITCH IS SO EASY & I'M MAKING THE SCARF FOR CHARITY DRIVE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON. THANK YOU & HAPPY CROCHETING. 🎉
Awesome!
Very clear explanation as you demonstrated! One of the best tutorials I’ve watched on crocheting. 😊
So glad it worked for you!
How many skeins.
Beautiful scarf. I'm a beginner so the instruction is too fast for me, but I'll get there one day.
I actually went into settings and slowed down the speed and that helped!
Or practice the moss stitch and come back to this tutorial?

How many yards did it take of the primo yarn? I have a pretty yarn I want to use but I’m not sure if it is enough

How many of the alla prima do I need for this project? Or how many yards of another brand?
4 hanks of Alla Prima or 200 yards super bulky yarn :)
Awesome! Thank you for your quick response, I’m excited to make this scarf 🧣
Is this moss stitch?

Are their other brands of yarn that are similar in softness & bulkyness but a little less expensive that you could suggest using.
yarnsub.com/yarns/knit_picks/array Here is a link to the closest substitutes! I’m not sure how much they cost.
@@DesertBlossomCraftsoooòiiii
Beginner here i am chaining and turning for each new row like you say but that is increasing the width of the scarf each row i add
Hmm, that shouldn’t be happening. You are probably increasing a stitch somewhere where you should be skipping. Remember on odd rounds, you should single crochet in the first stitch, but then you should SKIP the next stitch.

Love this video
When I knit the crochet for scarf, that is very tight .what will I do to make flexible scarf
Love it! Great yarn choice!!
Thank you!

I explain this at 4:49!

Please let me know.
Thanks so much! I used the color called Evening Sunset! I actually haven’t washed it yet since its pretty new 👀 I would have to let you know later!
@@DesertBlossomCrafts. Ok, thank you 😊

Yep, it’s basically the same stitch I just like to have that extra stitch on the ends
@@DesertBlossomCraftsOk. I forgot that the linen stitch is also known as the moss stitch
Thanks so much for commenting this! The extra Stich in this video was causing an increase for me. Skipping that extra Stich helped me get even rows.
Mine is just turning into a big not
Way too fast! I wouldn’t class myself as a beginner as such but I found it so hard to follow along.
You can slow it down under settings within the video window. It sounds funny, but works. Maybe that helps?❤
It’s literally just the moss (aka linen) stitch the whole way through. This is pretty beginner friendly imo

I think this was perfect speed. If u need u can slow it down in settings. It helped me when I was a beginner
