PRADA G was the most dangerous Bboy of his generation, ahead of Vicious Victor, Issei, Icey Ives at the time... he was Bboy Pacpac's inspiration. If he continued to train PRADA G would probably be the best Bboy in the universe. But he earns thousands of dollars as an actor in Hollywood so why come back?

He could still do it easily and probably will sometime in the next 2-3 years once he gets bored of background dancing and small acting gigs but he’s still makin more money than most bboys tryna make it atm and probably living way more stress free and injury free 😂 he knows it too. He can relatively hop into the top competitive bracket whenever he wants he just has to plan his timing regarding the bboys he would be facing,which event to go to Etc…even in a 1v1 bracket with all the other top32 active bboys right now I’d bet my money he can Forsure go top 8 😂
My favorite battle of the night! Rawness and fun conversations. Big ups for Menno and K-Mel for those burns lol. On beat and lyrical burns are more fun to see than complicated sets.

And even though I agree that they got the W over Skill Methodz in Top 8, I still wish that Skill Methodz made it through ONLY so that we can have a Top 4 with Skill Methodz vs Boogie Brats!! That would’ve been such a legendary moment Flea Rock and Luigi vs K-Mel and Prada G ⚡️ maaann

Damn Menno's and Stripe's toprock look from the 90s... when bboys simply did it as something mandatory before busting some powermoves and tricks, especially in comparison to some groovy funky bboys like those!! Will never understand what the new generation see in this way of breaking, totally unconnected to the music. ¡

@@bboyfocus12 No, I said they looked plain and basic just like 90s toprock... especially when compared to funky bboys like Prada and Kmel. Change music and they will do exactly the same run. it's just moves and transtition tricks. The archetype of trick based approach to breaking, where no interpretation or true enjoyement of music takes place or can be seen.
@@BocaNejra Look again. Stripes and Menno are experts at accentuating the music via their moves on the floor. They don't need to waste time with toprock all the time. If you think the most abstract and most copied bboys are just throwing tricks, you really don't understand breaking.

I wonder if it is right to even have the OGs competing with people young and active in the scene now. It's like, we know there is no way in hell team crumbs, team iron monkey or team kmel is going to be able to win against anyone high level in the scene realistically. So is it really right to have them in the competition at all, knowing that? To use them as a tool for nostalgia fodder, knowing they don't have a chance? I think if it were all OGs it would make more sense but it kind of defeats the purpose of a competition if they are essentially destined to lose.
Agree but no worries brother, its for our culture. Let the OGs feel how it is like to get along with the new era bboy. Besides, we all know how good they are when they are young too, look at it as like a celebration and ceremony where the OGs passing their legacy to the new eras.

Red Bull does it to manipulate and control the culture. Put on a show, pay them minimal if anything to compete while they maximize their branding efforts and media. Red Bull is also a medio house.

I get what your saying to an extent but I'm going to disagree. There is always going to be some older than others. Poe one competed a long time against young guns. And now you might as well now add hong 10. Near 40 then 50s. there shouldn't be a division in the culture. Just understanding. For everyone, those starting, in the middle, and towards the older side.
I agree, but it's crazy how much they still can teach us... Look at the beginning of this battle, Praga G and Kmel DANCING to the music, just enjoying it. You don't see this in this new generation, it's all about execution...

@@baolao24 I see what you’re saying. That era was completely different. And the access to watching your favorite breakers wasn’t as available as it is now. If you were at the event, you could feel how fun, authentic, genuine, real, the event was. It was more of a celebration of hip-hop and the culture than it was a battle.
I believe you’re right how the Internet affected how we view breaking in real life. We are spoiled more than ever.
