Killa literally brought an energy to this event that no one has brought in years. It literally saved this event this year. The man really reminded me of why I used to be inspired to break dance. The originality, the passion, the flavor and musicality along with his endless attack on his opponent out of straight competitiveness. Killa is without a doubt my favorite Bboy as of now.

I was rooting for Menno all the way, but seeing this battle, I kind of think that Koyla deserved to see atleast 2 votes before the final judge decision. It's funny because when the saw the list of participants, I was like, there's no way Menno would lose here unless it's to Lil Zoo, but he was not feeling 100%, so I sort of knew the result once he lost. Atleast this year's final was more interesting than I thought; I really enjoyed it and I hope everyone else did too. It's also my bday. :D

Hey what's up. In regards to judging at BC one
In my opinion, the power really lies in the hands of the event promoters. Majority of promoters, don't have an invested interest in solving the judging problem in our community. How many Bboys and promoters have you heard talk about "Fairness" being the most important value in competitions? Majority of Bboys just want to see their philosophy prevail "foundation wants foundation Bboys to win, power wants power Bboys to win" etc. And promoters only care if Bboys enter or not and if the Bboys sell tickets, get views or attract sponsors.
So "fair judging" has taken a back seat and when I was trying to push a fair system which allows for biased judges to focus on their preference, the reality was that the scene just wasn't ready. 5 judges, each judge needing to be trained was too much budget and work for promoters, who just want to pick their friends and make it as easy as possible. But now that we are moving towards the Olympics, I think there will soon be a bigger push for a fair system.

Look man a lot of people know killa kolya deserved that win however you can’t discredit menno, menno is one of the most toughest bboys to go three rounds with, you have to look at the battle multiple times to see that kolya had more slips than menno. Yes he was creative but if the judges see the slips there gonna go base on, originality, creative, etc. however if kolya had taken that W that would also have been great to see. Still to me I think it also one of the greatest matches in RBBC1 history. Menno got to be the first 3 time winning champ

①Won Red Bull BC One Cypher Kazakhstan 2019 (he was NOT an invited bboy)
②Won the Last Chance Cypher 2019 (out of 16 bboys who won nationwide BC One cypher)(※which took place on 7th (※World Final was on 9th))
③Made it through the Red Bull BC One 2019 Final (His moves were even fairly different from the Last Chance Cypher.)
④Simply he was better in every single way. (Literally, GO↓YOURSELF!!!)

Killa Kolya didn't walk away with the belt but respect from all over the world. (how the underdog could beat last year champion, Robin, Bart, and "Menno")
I think it was a well planned plot making sure killa doesn’t win the final. Because he came from ground zero to beat the defending champion and the 2 time champion (at that time) and he will be portrayed as the GOAT champion. If this happens it was a embarrassment to other top bboys (you know what I mean) and they made sure killa doesnt grab the belt. Easily first 2 of the 3 round goes to killa (2nd round please watch the video again menno kind of crashed but managed when he dropped from the freeze to floor). Even with considering 5 rounds 1,2,4 goes to killa!!!! Rigged

Menno was worst that Bumblebee and won, Menno was worst that Kazuki Rock and won, and definitely was worst that Kolya and received the victory. Even he knew that he had lost and that's why he forced new rounds. Kolya is the champion for everyone there. I will not understand how someone as slow as Menno keeps winning World Breaking championships. Menno doesn't do anything complex. He's got no impact or wow factor. It's like the whole tournament is rigged from the start

Killa Kolya proved his creativity and flexibility with unique freezes that I've ever seen in finals. HE IS REALLY THE CHAMPION in this round,I think. Though the judges give awards to Menno thinking flows in movements is better.
i have been defending menno for years, including in his previous two wins when half people didn't agree that he deserved to win, BUT in this battle, he lost, killa koyla was just Robbed in day light, shameful decision, especially when you consider the impact that this well deserved win would have made in killa koyla's life ( career wise, financially, future opportunities, bc one all star gigs..)
He can still be an All-Star though! Taisuke, Lil G, and Sunni never won BC One but are all All Stars.

I don't really agree (with most people in the comments section). I think Killa took round 1, but round 2 en 3 were Menno's.
I loved Killa this whole tournament as well as the Last Chance Cypher. Emotionally, I would have loved if Killa would've won, but objectively I think Menno won by winning the last two rounds.
Killa repeated a lot of the same moves in the last two rounds. I think that's why judges voted for Menno who came with new moves/combos.

First of all: I'm not an expert (at all) on the subject of breakdancing and Second: like Menno I'm Dutch (from Holland): nevertheless (in my opinion) I strongly believe (as did the crowd) that Killa Kolya should have won!
Not the first time seeing rigged fake judges in BC One. They ruined everything. Nothing against Netherlands, but this battle is not even a tight one. It's a 3-0 for Killa Kolya, even when Menno added extra sets, Killa was able to reply with better sets, it's 5-0. That makes it so bullshit and hard to even apprehend what happened.
