We have quite a few of these setups in South Africa. But they call the shape mk1 citi golfs we continued making them up until 2010. Non the less local racing scene has quite a few k swop mk1 golfs here.

I’m keen to see how you guys do the rear set up I have a kswapped turbo mk1 cabriolet that I just finished a few weeks ago so will be interesting to see how it all turns out. I ran 3 mounts on mine but I built the rear one completely different to yours.
I have a turbo k24 Honda Insight. The rear suspension setup is awful, I'm so so ready to go AWD. Check out LHT Performance Ksight, that's my goal.

Those engine mounts will work but long term I would not trust it, They should have used bolts and nuts to fasten it to the frame for long term safety and easy maintenance. However with the front top mount I trust it long term having four mounting points is extremely strong.
i just I was just looking at my mk1 and thinking, why not do a k24 swap and make it awd, but it would be difficult because I haven't seen anyone do it, and your video just appeared as the first suggestion, thank you very much for the inspiration, and amazing work , if you make a kit of the mounts and the awd kit, many of us would start making that crazy mod, greetings from Mexico and insta sub

Thanks Sebastien, your Rabbit can go All Wheel Drive also, this Rabbit is a 1984 MK1 so the first step is to get a Kseries Engine and AWD Trans and following along with our video, I will list them for you.

What happened with this build .
The customer took it after we completed what he needed...most of our builds we only do the AWD setup and sometimes we do a little more..but whenever the Rabbit is up and running we will do a video on it for sure, thanks for watching 🙌🙌
