100% top marks for the black-out mods. Looks clean. That fuel setup was a BBQ waiting to happen. Stellar job again. Kudos, Kudos, Kudos, for a really nice tidy up. You're worth more money!

Catching up mate!! Fuel pipes and swirl tank were shocking... Yet the interior and engine bay looked so good 🤔 it's like it changed hands half way through the build!! Caught up on your Nova 👌 cool little car, looking forward to seeing more of it! Cheers Paul 👍

if DCG didn't buy this car, somebody would of bought it in good faith [ i bet it wasn't cheap] + would probably be filling a total loss fire claim form in by now, or worse... go down to halfrauds + nick a positive battery terminal cover off a new battery, + use a bit of washer pipe to vent it outside keep em coming young man
Earth strapping the steering rack to make the horn work, removing the copper fuel lines, fixing the 5mm rock on rear wheel bearings... Every fix you did was car-thartic (Catharsis for Cars). I feel so much better now.

I once bought a nova saloon that looked mint freshly painted. It was a quick car 1.6 carbed went like stink for what it was, one winter later it had more orange than a can of tango. I was gutted..... once its starting it doesn't stop. It was white also. By year two it was done and broken for pars I made my money bk lucky enough for me.
I must say I actually love the MK1 golf there's just something about them also those wheels look unreal and a mint set up nice amount of power as well 😍🔥👌

(Thanx for your detailed videos). Top class work by you.. I'll be entering for this draw from Dream car 🤞
Shocking bits of detailing where they cant be bothered, just get it fitted attitude lets the car down. post your inspection and repairs, its all good. Well done Paul.
I'd still run a swirl pot for a turbo car with a crappy tank even if it's no track car, by either a contained swirl with integrated pump under the floor or in the spare wheel well with a bolt in cover over entire wheel well as a firewall. Here, that thing would never pass low volume certification for the road with boot mounted battery that's in a passenger cabin without being contained and vented directly to external atmosphere. Same goes for the old fuel system in passenger cabin.. Crazy..
You gotta love a mk1 golf. Shame about the idiot that put it back together with all that rubbish fuel pipping and state of those electrics. Nice one Paul 😊
The de-chroming in general looks good, but I'd have left the VW badge personally. Same with the letters (e.g. Ford) on other cars you black out. Great job as always though.
