My mum says same thing, nothing like the Australia before. Too many wrong type of immigrants came and in too high numbers, and those who don’t want to integrate. [Verse 1]
Started out last night, I was thinking of days gone by
Of the times I've had and the things that I've left behind
Some change, some die, still we manage to survive
It's knowing when and what to do, it's up to you
Don't know what's going on, I can't wait 'til
[Chorus]
One summer, I'll find a way
One summer will always remain
One summer, remember the way
[Verse 2]
Hauled down, turned around, find myself facing the wall
I think back to school, it's all the same, slightly different rules
Outside on your own, watch yourself 'cause you're all alone
I know what's going on, I can't wait 'til
[Chorus]
One summer, I'll find a way
One summer will always remain
One summer, remember the way
One summer, never the same
[Verse 3]
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
I think back not far, driving down the beach in my car
Another place, same time, Icky runs along a fine line
Down there, no chance, he's trapped in a different romance
His life a fait accompli, he never did see
[Chorus]
One summer, I'll find a way
One summer will always remain
One summer, remember the way
One summer, never the same
One summer, I'll find a way
One summer will always remain
One summer, remember the way
One summer, I'll find a way
One summer will always remain

Please take me back in time ........
So much nostalgia in this song -love it and miss it
Not only a top song but a really feel good film clip.
Back when Australia was easy to live !!!
Love this song!
Love it I'm a 90s baby but I like all kinds of music and 80s music is the best
I saw Daryl with Russell Morris, Jack Jones & Rai Thistlethwayte at Crown about 12 months ago.
Gosh they were all so good. The vibe was amazing and their voices better than ever.
Brings back such good times.
THIS SHOULD BE THE WORLDS ANTHEM ONE SUMMER ONE WINTER ONE PEACE ONE LOVE ONE SAND
