1. Buy a replacement headband from [bit.ly/2KsQnpo]
2. Get a T5 Screwdriver
3. Unscrew the screws from both sides of the hinges
4. Remove the broken headband from the Beats Studio 3 Wireless
5. Remove the headband cushion from the Beats By Dre Studio 3 Wireless
6. Get the new headband and insert it into both hinges
7. Clip the headband cushion onto the headband
8. Make sure the wire is in the correct place (between the rubber pieces)
9. Now get back to jamming out 🎧

JoesGE.com is a pretty cool place (depending who you talk to it might be more than pretty cool. But hey, I'm just writing this down so that it says something down here, because that's more professional right?) and if you're still reading along at this point you might as well sit down and grab some popcorn because this is about to trail on about how we are this premiere repair service located in Washington State North of Seattle in basically the "Armpit of the US" near Mt baker (Mt Baker has the world record for most snowfall at 1,140 inches in a season). Even though it can smell bad around here we love the fresh air and being near the post office and in a quiet sleepy mountain town certainly gives us much closer access to Team Turtle and Team Beaver (Watch our "Who, what, when and where is JoesGE?" video if you don't get the reference).
All this to basically say that we are all addicted to coffee and stay in the warehouse for ridiculously long hours in order to keep up with the demands of the youth for these two sided head audio devices and speakers that float when you throw them in the ocean or in your bathtub to test if they actually float. On top of that we do like it when less stuff ends up in landfills so we hoard everything on shelves with wheels so that we pollute less, it just sits in our warehouse loosing molecules slowly over time degrading to become smaller and smaller.
If you are still reading at this point you deserve an award, or a high five, or something because you must either be the most patient person on the planet, or you read blogs frequently. And if the latter is the case, then this whole thing must seem pretty short so lets keep going.

Also, if you are wondering how we keep up with the demands of the people so well, its because 90% of the people that work here are all Russian around getting things done most of the time. SUPREMEX MAXIMUS bro don’t worry it’s a very ez repair, I’m 13 and I fixed it, don’t use it too much because I tried that and the wire started getting cut and almost killed my battery 💀 as long as you don’t use it your good not until you get it repaired

Small warning! My headband cushion had a ton of sticky glue like tape making it very hard to put back together. Now the cushion edges can come undone manually but it doesn't come out of fall off when on my head. HOWEVER, this was entirely my fault and this video was excellent. It's a small price to pay for my headband to not be snapped. Thank you!

Wow amazing!! I went to geek squad they said send to Apple for $200 replacement because yours are beyond repair. I called Apple they said send it in for $140 repair but if any problems, you are on your own. I bought this kit for $22 on Amazon and fixed it in less than 10 minutes!!! Thank you!!! I’m also like wtf how is there this many ppl with the same problem for beats’ best product....that shows u the quality hahaha anyways thanks and I hope I help somebody else to confidently do this bc it saved me!
This is still a ongoing issue I got the solo pros recently and thank god I knew what to do but it took a whole hour just to figure out something that should not have been a issue in the first place 😭

This was extremely helpful, I just changed my band and it looks almost new! I was hoping to change the hinge to give a good look, but it’s a little more complicated and I don’t have a soldering gun.

This is super easy to do. Took 5 minutes and didn't have pry tool. Got the replacement from Joe's Gaming as well. Perfect fit.

This worked!!! So much cheaper than bringing them to Apple! I have the exact same beats (same color and everything), and when I was taking them off my head I accidentally dropped them from about a 5ft height and this exact part broke (right side and everything). You are a lifesaver thank you!!!

Thx for the part website. Thx for the very helpful detailed instructions. It took me triple the time it took you but still very easy. I had problems with the earphones falling out of the top part of the head band. But once I snapped the bottom part of the headband on I didn’t have any more problems. Thx a whole lotta times.

that's the cool thing about old beats model u can replace almost everypart except the solo pro's
The solo pros are 100% able to get repaired. It is just a harder repair

@@thisismyalias bastards. I was wearing mine last night and had to tie a fucking scarf around me head to keep them up. No point Me even paying for the band replacement because the actual headphones are broke on mine to everything is Sellotape it up it’s ridiculous had them for less than two years probably a year and a half, always looked after them.
I was about to buy new ones but i saw this video thank you so much they are fine, but it came a week late haha

Awesome just did it and it worked great. You guys should consider sending extra screws though. I was terrified of losing the screws and did not have a white surface to work on.
