Just went to Best Buy and got it for $180 today. I was not going to drop $350 or $450-$500 for the AirPod max 😅. The usb type c sold me vs the micro usb to charge on the solo 3.
I have several earbuds but never considered full size headphones until I saw the Beats Studio Pro on sale for 180, after 2 days I think they are worth it at that price. I especially appreciate the fact that they can still be used while charging, the other thing I like is how they fold up into a compact easy to carry package.
Amazon had these at an excellent price point. Picked up the sand color pair and I am happy with the purchase. I still rock my Sony’s WXM-4’s as they are my all time favorite headphones.
I've had mine for about 11 months now, and I wear them almost everyday commuting to work and at the gym. So many reviews mention the disappointment from the build quality with the plastic creaks and sounds, but maybe mine just happens to be the best of the batch, i have not had any issues with it folding still and the buttons still work just as they did the first day, even with all the sounds it makes. So I do knock it a little for the annoying sound it makes, but it doesnt bother me so much as even typing on a mechanical keyboard is louder, and I picked that for the sound it makes lol. I wonder if our perception of quality is artificial that we associate this creaking sound to poor craftsmanship = the product wont last. As for me, I may be lucky that its still functioning as it was the first day. The negatives I have for the Studio Pro isnt the plasticness or sound it makes when moving it, its the actual settings of EQ and other actual sound gripes.
Never had beats but was eyeing them since they’re on sale. I have an iPhone but wanted over the ear headphones for the gym. Reviews seem very mixed so now I’m wondering if I should even bother 😬
Just got the studio 3s and I will say from the reviews the sound quality is better on the Pros like for instruments etc. The studio 3s are louder and louder have louder bass one last thing grab a WC sweats cover if you plan on working out or sweating with them on.
@@Veryy_Victoriaa no problem! I’d def recommend them I just ordered mine they’re supposed to be easy to put on and take off and you can clean them. Comparing full price 350 to airpod max on sale isn't really fair. You're comparing a 350 headphone to a 550 headphone. Obviously the airpod max is better. As I type this, they're both on sale, and it's $170 vs $400. Again, airpod max is a lot more money, even on sale. I think you're not giving these a fair review for what you get for the money. I get they weren't on sale at the time, but you should at least give your thoughts as to what price point you think they would have been worth it since you were comparing against airpods on sale, and knowing people are gonna be watching this months later.
I personally had the solo for 5 years and loved them! Upgraded to the studio now. Also, do you mainly use noise cancellation? It seems like transparency mode isn’t the best Also I tried the Apple max but they’re way too expensive despite better sound quality
I think I agree with you as an Apple user having all Apple products however I got my beats free for Christmas! Lol So I’m about to be disconnecting & reconnecting! 😊
While automatic switching would be nice, you just have to select them from control center to connect. He makes it sounds like it’s way more cumbersome than it is.
I’m looking at headphones, and I like Beats, but the thing stopping me is it doesn’t stop playing if you take them off your head and they can’t connect to multiple devices
Apple purposely hamstrung the Studio Pro, so they shouldn't really be compared to the Airpod Max. It's an apples and grapes comparison. You mentioned that you can get the Max for $100 less than what it would normally cost, but I just bought a pair of Studio Pros, from the Apple Amazon store for $179. I highly doubt that Apple will sell their Max at even $279 (but I'll quickfast-buy if it does). I bought them because my work headset was dying and I need ANC to work at home. The Studio Pro works better than my prior headset and is also built better, for a bit more than the price of the old ones. They function well enough for $179, IMO (but my Airpod Pros sound and work better for the same price - go figure). I agree with you about hand-off though. I think Apple should've added the H chip to them for the sake of folks that have lots of Apple products...they could've done that and also made them still compatible with Android equipment. I also agree with you on transparency mode - it needs to be better...not sure if that's tied to the H chip.

Thanks for your review. I completely agree as an Apple user lack of auto switching is a big pain or even simultaneous multipoint it doesn’t even have that. I bought some and tried to love them but auto switching meant like you said it’s awkward. Also in wear glasses and the headphones caused pain due to clamping force on my ears. So just returned them today now wondering what to do. AirPod pro I was allergic to the silicon so just have normal AirPods but no ANC or Transparency mode. AirPod max look good but so expensive. It’s a conundrum. If beats upgraded bios and allowed auto switching I could live with them i guess. But for now figuring out a plan B.
The cheap plastic buttons is an ick for me too. I just got some solo3s on sale for $112 for what o need them for they’re decent. Was thinking about upgrading to the studio 3 thinking they’d be way better. Disappointed that they’re so much closer in build to the solo 3.
