I love my CRF300 Rally. I purchased all the H2C Honda parts from Thailand, where the bike is manufactured. My local Honda Dealership, Dallas Honda, installed and set up everything, and it performs like a dream. This is my favorite off-road bike. Thanks for showing us you mods. I will probably get some of them for my Rally.
Great additions to your bike 👍I had those crash bars on mine but took them off. They weigh a ton, and I couldn't fit my new header pipe with the engine brackets.
I really like your brisk presentation style. Most TH-camrs that I watch across a broad spectrum of topics could learn a lot from how you do it. I suppose it’s partly the editing and partly a bunch of other factors that I can’t even identify. Half of these guys use twice as many words as they need to. They’re constantly doubling back on things they’ve already said and repeating themselves, all while not even explaining things all that well. Their intros are long, meandering and meaningless. And their cold opens-mother of Santa Clause,do I ever loathe the cold open of the average TH-camr. And at the end of the video, most find it almost impossible to shut it down! They ramble on and on. And on. And on;working their way through multiple levels of meaningless outros. You,on the other hand, are just like “see ya.”
I just bought a 24 rally I’m 245 lbs did all the performance mods I’m 59 years old not into the jumping and acting a fool yes the bike is not powerful I came off a 450 L that bike just was too torquey this bike I sent fast and it I sent powerful I live in pa ride a lot of single track in are mountains the rally is not going to get you there fast but that bike will get you there love the vids you put out and I love my rally not mad I got rid of my 450
I’m 260 lbs and my ‘23 Rally is struggling to get over 70 mph. Everything is stock so far. Do I need to get an aftermarket exhaust, tires, or something else to increase my power? I need to be able to hit 75-78 mph to take it on the highway consistently.
great video. bookmarked for future reference in case I keep my Rally and want to do the mods. I’m 6’4”, 260 lbs and it’s not enough power for me. Probably need to upgrade to a Tenere, GS, Transalp, or Africa Twin. Nothing wrong with having 2 bikes.
@@terrymcv7064my top speed has been 77 mph exceeding 7000 rpm’s. That was going downhill a bit. I was at 77.5 mpg before I started putting some highway miles on it, now I’m at 75.2 mpg with 1800 miles on the odometer. I have upgraded my seat (seat concepts $330 + shipping) and a top case. Still thinking about suspension and ECU upgrades.
I like the set up you have with the screen, I have the same issue where my gps sets too up front I want it right above the dash. Help where did get that mount?
hey just a quick question, when cops stop you dont they suspect or give you fines for loud exhaust exceeding DB and emissions etc? and what about STK (technical control of the vehicle) do you pass it with all these mods and are they street legal? I see so many people making mods and power mods but i always wonder if they just risk getting fined and stuff or does everybody ride illegally? Thank you for explaining.
really great video and thanks for sharing! a bike that is too small is better than a bike that is too big...IMO. I have owned yam 250, crf450l, yam 450 and for ME, I prefer the ktm 500. If the Honda 300/450 could get close to 260 lbs and not be all plugged up with govscam epa junk, I might be more interested. I have a GPX 300r and its so underpowered and parts are such a pain, my new policy is, if I can't order parts from rocky mtn atvmc, I'm not buying that bike. The GPX has taught me I will NOT like the kove 450. But if honda or yamaha came out with a similar small adv bike, I might bite, but for now I'm staying with my ktm 500 for this niche, it also doubles as my snowbike. but my real love is a 300 two stroke and for ADV a tenere 700. so...the ktm 500 doesn't get ridden much.
Lowering the back end should make the front end lighter given it increases fork rake and transfers weight balance backwards. Not saying what you are feeling isn't true, just that it doesn't make sense in theory.
I highly recommend swapping those upper crash guards for the SRC Moto skid plate/lower crash guard. There are countless examples of the rally tower bending/twisting even from minor tipovers from the ones you have. Also a $20 headlight guard would save a lot of money replacing the headlight/windshield area when a rock gets flung at you
Hey brother. My name is Gus Wolf. I work for Southern Honda Powersports, the world’s largest Honda Powersports dealer. Thank you for your content. Would love for you to come down to check it out and give me your thoughts. Chattanooga, Tennessee. Stay safe and keep up the good work.
@@normkiessling4490my point exactly, his mods are all for the highway, he should've bought a more road oriented bike. Versys 300 has 39HP. You just need to rev it to get the power. It's Japanese, it loves to rev. Most people only have 15hp throttle hand. All those mods are detracting from the offroad performance, which is already limited. Maybe mods give him a sense of achievement. Should've put the time/money into suspension and tires.
I like the brisk presentation and the mods are all interesting to see. I just wonder why people buy a bike and then feel the need to spend almost 3K on “stuff” to “make it work” for them. Why not buy a bike that suits you in the first place? I think the marketers for accessories see us all coming at times.
Buying an aftermarket exhaust designed to be loud, then complaining that it's loud and spending more money to make it quieter... It's like something straight out of Idiocracy,..drink more Brawndo!
Tire swap? Unnecessary. Stock are just fine. Ride them out. Pegs? Just fine. No need to change them. The OEM ones are not that narrow and $110 is a rip-off for the absurd ones featured here. The bike is not that tall when you sit on it. Pretty sure lowering is spelled lowering, not loweing as you have on the video. The Flatland is a nice skid plate. Shift lever is just fine. No need to waste money on replacing the stock one. Again, poor spelling/grammar: "Loud volume in 10 second" should be in "10 seconds". All around poor suggestions and poor presentation. Can't take anything here seriously.

550 Performance stage 1 flash you will be in love with this modification.
I have been debating that, but scared to mess with stock engine stuff.
I been eyeballing it, may have to make the dive. ty
Does an ECU uograde effect fuel efficiency?
Greetings,
As always another fantastic detailed video 🇺🇸🎉🍾🇺🇸
Keep producing more videos about the CRF.
thank you and will do
Well done, it's come up great! Loving my Rally, it's taken me all over the place here in Australia 😎👍
one of my favorite bikes yet
Great additions to your bike 👍I had those crash bars on mine but took them off. They weigh a ton, and I couldn't fit my new header pipe with the engine brackets.
The 300L is such a good, low maintenance platform.
Yep. Getting one.
I run the Dunlop D605. Absolutely love it 👌
I hate those, I replaced my IRC originals that had over 8k miles with the D605, they were noisy first off, and already have alot of wear at 2k !

I agree about most intros
Nice bike and very well rigged out IMO.
Just need some Motion footpegs to really complete that build. Great video.
Great comprehensive & honest video, how does the Carpuride standup to rough trails and bumps?
so far so good. when I hit some rough stuff, log crossings and such it did adjust down a pinch. but a simple hand adjustment and all good

Don't know much about lowing link, can you please make a detail vedio about the benefits of it ❤
I actually just removed mine
What's the reason..?
Can you give a short summary?
G’day, do you have a link for the mirrors? Cheers
Built is really cool

What's your top highway speed.
And real life mileage.
I've been thinking about getting one. I'm slightly heavier then you at 6'-2"

Does the Carpuride work well with gloves?
I enjoy more wet dirt / trails than hot desert… Rally good for that?
Yes. It won’t get you there fast but it will do everything.

the add on window clip screen?
@@adventureundone The mount where the carpuride sits on.
Phone stops charging because it overheats in the tank bag
Try a quad lock mount with the rubber stabiliser which stops damage to the phone’s camera

Where I live in pa the speed limit is 65 the bike will do that all day
One other upgrade I would do is an ECM flash
You need some Motoz RallZ. Hit me up!
Yeah, I love the AX41’s on big adv bikes, but not on this bike.
yes
How much price of it sir?
Great content, delivery and production quality. And thanks...now I think I need to get a Rally 300L! ;)

Any thoughts about upgrading suspension?
I personally like the soft suspension. I’m also not an aggressive rider, and the soft suspension is nice for longer rides

My guy, I've seen a few of your videos with multiple bikes and all the mods and my question is are you indepently wealthy? My eyes are a little green.
lol, no. I sell the bikes when I’m done with them, and move on to the next project.
disc cutter on that left footpeg. shave off 1/2" from the corner and it be perfect.

is it a highway cruiser or dual sport? KTM 390 and Versys 300 do exist.
You want to ride something under power test ride the verses 300

Sorry to be negative Nancy but you will probably sell it in 6 months time like I did, just found it too under powered
