I'm testing the Carpuride as well. I had the same issue with the USB plug power shutting off intermittently. I decided to hardwire it and now it works flawless!! ✌️
You can tell a lot about the history of an area by checking out local churches and their history, apparently the town was founded in 1828. After the revolutionary war there was a sweeping religious revival called the first great awakening. Churches built around that time were often built with a pulpit in the center without a lectern, a nod to the centrality of the Gospel reflected in the architecture. The civil war cannon ball made the building story even more interesting. Great trip thanks for sharing.
Really enjoyed your video sir. I just received my first dual sport and it is also a Honda CRF300L Rally. You were talking about a light on your dash illuminating when you were on the highway doing about 70 or something. I noticed a little white light on my dash when I’m driving too. It flickers and goes off after a temporary illumination. What does that light mean?
Nice work on this one. Love my 300 Rally I’ve done basically every upgrade in the book on mine including full rally raid suspension since it’s my only bike and I ride 80%+ off-road. People need to understand that the 300 Rally is not a great US Highway bike. But hell it is amazing off road with upgrades and 60-65mph cruising speeds
@@adventureundone Fishing is not great but there are fish in there. Hiking is great, there is a trail that goes all the way around the lake. Swimming is allowed in the designated area. There is (or was) also a GROUP camp area...... and if you feel like roughing it, a primitive area too.
The bike does seem like hits the sweet spot. I’d like at least a short video on your thoughts and experiences with the carpuride, sort a long term review. Keep up the good work bud.
Fun fact: I had a deposit on a Rally, but then I decided to go with a Transalp. You ditched your Transalp and bought a Rally. Do you think the Rally is your unicorn, or just another phase you'll go through?
I really don’t think any bike is a unicorn. But the rally does almost everything I want, for my ride style. I do wish it had a little more umph, but I would take a rally over a Transalp for off roading at least.
...which aftermarket exhaust do you have on now...??? I have an Akropovic on a 310GS....its louder and I am sure considering going back stock....the Akro was on when I purchased it so....
I can't say it often enough, spend the same amount you would for a new 300L and get a used KTM 500 exc-f with ~1k miles (still newish). There's zero comparison, and the questions of is it too much power, too much vibration, too much maintenance, not reliable, are all basically nonsense. New riders, get the 300L though, but if you have a few years, get the 500. I have 2 500's after getting a 300L. I never ride the 300 anymore. Wait, I take it back, if you ride only gravel and backroads like you see in this video, the 300L is fine. But if you hit hills and dirt-bikey kinda terrain, there's no comparison to the 500.
I just got a 250L and I love it. I'm looking forward to taking it on my first camping trip in April.
I have a 23 rally 300 left over brand new. Got it in June 24 love it. Perfect for this 65 year old lol
Yay! Glad to see you out enjoying the rally! Make more of these!! This is why we buy this bike!
many more to come :)
The perfect bike is a bike that you are happy with.....
Fun video. Going to check out your mods. Definitely looking forward to getting one.
thank you

Did u run your usb through the 12v or a USB pot routed directly to battery?

how much was that suspension upgrade?
100% on that skating comment. See things as a play ground then just a slanted piece of black top lol
SMDSR- I grew up camping out there. Raised my kids camping there too.
Such a nice campground. I’m excited to go back

Hello Sir, you should check Shonky production.
He has upgraded his rally to 301 hp with engine kit conversion
Looks like a great trip. Are you able to share any of the routes / gpx files?
yeah I could share them via Gaia. Just message me on instagram

Black widow, and I will be going back to stock.
Nice 👍
Need a crf350 from Honda.
It seems like this is your favorite motorcycle.
Leaving firewood for the next camper is a tradition of campers based on honor. Not because they did not have time to burn it,

She has the rally

I'd ask a question about the bike but he's too busy talking about not answering questions about the bike.
People pay to go camping? That's completely foreign to me! And why would ya wanna go be near other people? I don't get it.
