    It's weird to think that this was recorded just 3 years ago and some of these PC parts are now a lot more affordable and considered low to mid tier.

    Thats a damned fine setup you've made there, Brandon. I just dropped a load on a new heatsink for my system, and got it clocked, and what you have there is some serious kit. I wish I had cable routing like that, too...

    "consoles are getting better" HAHAHAHAHA

    • @callofdutyblackops9
      @callofdutyblackops9 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are, consoles and Pc's are the closest they have ever been spec wise. I'm a PC guy myself, but I look at just 2 years ago, look at the difference between PC gaming then and console gaming then, it was almost two different worlds, you have to look at how things are processed and what they use to build the consoles, but they are definitely getting better.

    • @kingdoggie5231
      @kingdoggie5231 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      xXShadowXx 2 years back PCs we're in a era of 1080p 60FPS. Now we're slowly entering 4k. And console still can't get a stable 60FPS or 1080p.
      getting better? they call these new console "nextgen" whereas half of their games aren't even 1080p or 60FPS.

    • @karthan8253
      @karthan8253 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tommy Vercetti Exactly, like I myself have nothing against consoles, but when the people who say they're better then pc's make me angry.. Oh and btw we have 5k already as well.

    is it bad that im 14 and i worked my butt of over the summer and made 3000 dollars and spent it all on a pc?

    • @DannyAran117
      @DannyAran117 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      stay10578 Well that money could have gone to a pretty good (used) car when you finally get your driver's licence, which I would have done if I was your age. Hopefully you didn't go balls to the wall and got parts for your PC that you didn't even need. For example, I spent about $1600 on my PC and I'm sure that this rig is going to last for years. But if I had $3000, I could have made a freakin' beast of a computer.

    • @stay10578
      @stay10578 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actualy a spent 1900 on the pc and the rest on the entire setup including monitor,keyboard,mouse,headphones ect

    These guys are top tier youtubers as far as professionalism. They produce extrememly well thought out and designed videos, and edit them with perfection (well not even hollywood is perfect but you get me). If I could game with these cats that would be super super cool.
    Also the tractor on the screen looks like it was made in a modeling program like inventor or something, then rendered to look realistic.

    If there is one thing i would add to the PCs, it would be an Aver Media Live Gamer HD capture card. Ive had one for a while now and like it SO MUCH better than fraps. Doesnt lock your frame rate to either 30 or 60FPS when recording like fraps does

    Indeed. I've never been without a 1000+ Watt PSU. Even when not running SLI/Crossfire I still make sure I have it. Now I'm running SLI 780's with 3 SSD's 3 HHD's, BR drive, 8 fans. And I'd be worried sick about running that on less than a 800watt Plat rated PSU. 1000watt just gives me peace of mind that I won't ever under volt.

    Good idea going with the pre-built machines for something like this. You don't want to have to build and test 5 by yourself. Also you get that warranty so you don't have to troubleshoot and fix if you don't want to. Building your own is the way to go don't get me wrong but if you're doing more than 2 at once go pre-built.

    like to comeback to this video just to see when all the lan party started and just see how far we have come a long way in computers and see the simpler times when all you needed was a gtx 780 to run games in max now its like oh titan this or super duper 2080 just call it rtx or gtx and call it 2080 like a fucking human being names dont sell its the performance

  • @Brownboy42069
    @Brownboy42069 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's more about resolution.
    The low end build I presented should be able to play most games at around 50 average fps at 1080p. The mid end build is geared at either high performance 1080p, entry level 1080p 120/144Hz, or entry level 1440p. And the high end build is definitely intended for resolutions greater than 1080p or high performance 1080p 120/144Hz.

    For non-content creator users, the 4670K is actually a much better deal. And in the Obsidian 350d case I would take the xtra savings and rad up to the H100i cooler (and pocket $50). It will run 10-12C cooler than the H80i in push pull, which means you can pretty much guarantee a 4.5+ Ghz OC, assuming you are willing to cross the 1.25v threshold.
    I have built similar, identical and variant systems in that case for friends and family and done extensive testing/tuning. So these are my observations.

    Hi Node, correct me if I am wrong but I have not seen any videos of node inviting subscribers to game with you four? Love to see that video. Maybe an idea to run a competition? I would definitely enter. It will be nice to see how a subscriber fairs against you four veterans. Loving all your content, especially the minecraft dragon quest, good to see you beat the dragon, but a little bit unfortunate that D did not make it to the end. Really enjoy the adventure videos. Well I wish you all best for the future. Looking forward to future videos:)
