Go to the tailor with the boots or shoes you'll be wearing so they can get an exact measurement. Also, wash the jeans before you take them to the tailor. After that any pants you get you could just bring in that original pair so they can size it up.

Elevator shoes are good if you’re borderline short but not super short (at least 5’7) I’m just under 5’9 and I wear 2.6 inch elevator sneakers. You shouldn’t wear anything that adds more than 3 inches

Some advices are not universal,body proportion is important too ,i have a big head and short leg,wearing mono color and slim fit cloth like you showed in the video make me look like a lollipop,colors that contrast upper and lower body actually look better,this is only my opinion.
