How do you learn all materials in high school and retaining all the information for final exams at the end of the school year? Also, how do you eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you are hungry for food while you are in the inner-world system?
School has been a horror story for us. Learning and keeping things in mind was extremely stressful, hard and contained us staying up all night, doing our homework, learning, making a thousand notes, yet still forgetting a ton. In our school we didn't have like one final exam

@@thepizzasystem umm soo i think i have alters cuz i have different mindsets opinions preferences and feelings, and i had to kinda sort my “personalities” as personas and then they just felt real? but they didnt have names so i thought i was faking... i cant get a professional diagnosis but i think i have OSDD i dont know much about the alters right now and some of them dont even have names or any real info? thats why i think im faking but at the same time i feel like different people, can i have OSDD? they feel made up but without the personas im not really able to know the stuff i like... I wouldn't completely say that DID is a fusion, since alters itself are separate identities, but even though we are separate, we are all needed in order for our system to work! On your journey towards recovery sometimes things like a fusion can happen, which would mostly be referred to as integration, when to alters become one. But there can also be splits, where one alter is dividing into two or more parts! Having DID can be extremely different, since it is a very complex disorder. It can be extremely debilitating and we can't speak for other systems, but speaking for ourselvesIf it really affects us in our daily life. If that wasn't helpful just let us know and we'll try to answer it differently

@@yaredmogesabreha9700 I might not be the best one to answer this, but I'm going to give it my best shot! haha. basically, if a child has experienced trauma and it is repeated and the child thinks it's a life or death experience then the brain will bring up walls and there will be a loss of memory to that trauma, and then an alter forms so it's that alter taking the trauma and not the child. It depends on the people we are with! If we know that the people we are with are safe, understanding, etc we all feel more comfortable actually doing, wearing, talking the way we like. Rapid Switching or a lot of switching is just a part of our system life, not every system switches that often, but there might also be systems switching more than that!

Hi! Alter stands for 'alternate state of conciousness'... so any one within the system is an alter, including the child from which the other alters a formed. Hope that helps!
We would say definitely! Every part of the system is an alter, since each of us has their own state of consciousness. Besides it being hard to tell who was there first, it doesn't really matter anymore since we are all little parts split from each other
