I wonder if he brought that up in the audition? How pathetic can I be... I hit Roger out of bounds.
Ed O'NEAL said he was inspired by his "life hates me" uncle. Most other actors played Al Bundy like Jackie Gleason Honeymooners.

I'm new to the Rich Eisen show. Enjoy the content very much. Is it just me or is it strange that Rich's desk is positioned so he is looking down at his guests? I find it slightly disruptive ... maybe even intimidating to some guests? Probably overthinking this! Lol. I had a job interview once where the interviewer's desk and chair were positioned similarly. The guy was pretty arrogant & insecure. I was offered the job but declined as I discovered I would report directly to him.
