    I really like the offset stamping technique. It adds subtle depth. I find adding pizazz to one layer cards challenging. This technique creates dimension and pizazz at the same time.
    The owl in the MMH kit is dang near irresistible. I forced myself to count the owl stamps I already have. Then I had to remind myself about all the cute little house and snowman stamps I have already. You get the idea. Hard to resist this month’s kit.

    I always love your cards, you make it look SOOO easy!
    I know you like to write your own sentiment inside cards and I do too (occasionally) but I would LOVE to see how you "finish" the inside of your cards - I find it difficult to decide what to do inside once the outside is done. I always feel something is lacking??
    Thanks always for sharing your talent and techniques!!

    I always wondered why companies didn’t just create tighter dies like that so you don’t end up with the silly white edge, so much nicer! That rolling hills die is beautiful!

    • @jennifermcguireink
      @jennifermcguireink  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      there are some reasons. first, there was question for a long time that the stamps may shrink over time. but that hasn't amounted to much. :) and! if you have a long stamp, you may mount it at a bit of an arch, causing the die to not line up well. so it gives a bit of wiggle room

    Do you use those brush like embossing things to emboss ink on card stock with? Are they easier to use than finger daubers?

    Hairspray tends to yellow over time, which is one reason to use a fixative. Many hairsprays have additives that are great for hair, not so much for paper, so if you're going to use it, use the cheap stuff. 🙂

    Yeah, Hero Arts! I hate that white border on die-cuts, so I never buy matching dies. So I'm all in on the masking dies. I hope they make all their new dies like this.

    You haven't done cutting dies video in quite a while. Wish you will get to it soon.
    Pink and main was first company to come up with the ergonomic blending brushes and you were very excited about that. But you never use them and always use the altenew brushes. It's David and Goliath.

    • @jennifermcguireink
      @jennifermcguireink  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      More die cutting will come soon. I got in waves.
      And I still use the Pink and Main Those are bigger. These are smaller. Smaller is better fr this technique.
      Pink and Main was first to the market with the big brush and the small brush with handle - these are different. I like both :) but use that you have!
      And trust me - in this industry? Everyone is David. :)
