I agree. I'm Norwegian 🇳🇴 we don't have all these products in stores, so to learn how to do it, makes it easier to do with what I got. Thank you for sharing ☺ You are so inspiring ❤
Your idea of using the packaging to place the ink on top of the card so that you can see where you are smooshing the ink is brilliant! Thank you for that tidbit of advice. I will be using it today when I make a birthday card.
Who doesn’t love butterflies, they are so beautiful. Loved all your cards Laura’s, so clever but I think the last on with the vellum was so pretty so maybe my favourite.
Laurel, YOU are a HOOT! I love everything about your videos, especially your sense of humor...You are talented and keep us using "what we have" and keep it simple. You're my kind of crafter. The MAGIC MUG is my FAV! Keep on keeping on, and thanks for the great inspiration! Love you girl!
I love how every crafting video just as soon as that if you’re a crafter watching, you’ve got a stash you’re not incorrect, but I just think it’s interesting that it’s assumed
Thank you so much! I’m a new viewer and been using old card making methods that are 2d and while beautiful, I have been wanting to take it to the next level. After getting very sick, finding new hobbies that I can handle and I am in LOVE and soooo excited to get back into card making! Thank you!
I loved, loved, loved this demo. This lady is short, sweet and succinct. I cannot stand hour long videos which can be edited down to 10. hugs from little old New Zealand
I enjoy your videos so much. The ideas are great, but it's your upbeat personality! You seem to be having fun and you aren't a card dictator - "Do it my way or perish!" Thanks so much!💐👏🏻🌷
The door knob thing (which is a brilliant option) is called a baren. It's typically used in mono printing on a gel plate but it's useful for stamping or ensuring your substrate is stuck well on a Cricut cutting mat.
love the technique used to create the background for card number one - it still looks 'organic' but you have some control over the placement of the watercolour - great tip using the plastic packaging!
Omg …. 😂😂😂😂 …. You crack me up …. So funny to hear you literally talk out loud … first time watching your video & now I’m a massive fan. Thank you for making my night 😂😂😂😂😂
Laurel, thank you for sharing your ideas. I like the relaxed , looose look--not uptight designs like I always create. I've always wanted to work in this style. Your tutorials will get me started, I'm sure.
Live these videos. Need more videos that show how easy it is so I can get out of my head which complicates the process. Your techniques allow us to know just how easily we can replicate these ideas. thank you!!!
Beautiful butterfly stamp. They're all pretty, but I like the colors on the shaker. I like the tip about using clear over the black. That would make the details more visible. Thanks for sharing these. You make me laugh, too. Thanks!
Very awesome! The multiple ideas for one stamp is great! I like how quickly the video moved - don't always have a hour or more to spend watching a video.
Thanks again Laurel! You always help me find some inspiration when I am running low. I like the first 2 cards best…. Just adding that washi tape made the card pop …. Would have never thought to do that. I guess that is why you make the videos, and I watch them. Always love the simple ideas best! 😊
My goodness, that was the most beautiful crafting art tutorial I've seen in quite a long time. I wanted to know how to use the clear stamps and I was more impressed by your ink shading and water colors. It was truly beautiful! I love that I've stumbled across your channel! You're truly talented and blessed‼️🙏🏿🤗
Ugh... I’m such a left-brained person. I love crafts, but they don’t love me. I just don’t have the imagination to come up with these ideas. It’s fascinating to watch you do these things so effortlessly. That in itself is entertaining.
Love all these cards for each is unique and cool. I like the attack mode you go into when making cards. No fear and trepidation! Lol lol. Never would I have tried in a million years paste on a stamp but these look fabulous!!!
Butterflies are my thing! They make me think of my Mom who is with Jesus! I’m not really into cards so much, but I love art journaling and painting. I really love watching your videos! You are a wonderful teacher! So easy to understand!
Thank you for sharing a fresh approach to making do with what you have...too many times i see peeps purchase so many things that they end up financially in the hole...this way you show us that there are soooo many ways to utilize what we have!! thank you so much for sharing :)😁
I just started junk journaling, and I am officially addicted to paper crafts ❤ I love your creative techniques. Just followed 😊 I hope to be on your level some day
It was a most refreshing video; you kept me riveted all through the presentation. I most enjoyed your first card using the blob of inks on the package wrapping. Then the 'ugly' shaker card...(not the vellum) as the colors were very vivid. Yep, I subscribed.
Butterflies are definitely “my thing” as you put it and my absolute favorite was number One followed by number Four. I’m new to making cards and not familiar with Shaker Cards, looks like a lot of steps(for me) but the finished card came out so pretty. You had my heart racing with the first card… it’s FANTASTICAL. Thanks for sharing your beautiful talents. 🦋🦋🦋. Side note.. thank you for sharing “your way” of Black embossing.. it’s so much easier and neater. I will definitely be doing it YOUR WAY from now on. Thanks again.
Love these. Have to see what Stamps I have and get started.. like to do things that are different .Embossing is so much fun. Love watching it change. Never did or used any pastes. You Crack me up at times. Never know what words or expressions you're going yo do. Love it. Thanks for Sharing..always enjoy your videos.
I love the shaker card, and water reactive cards too. I love experimenting and trying to come up with new techniques, and I can see we have that fun, adventurous side to our crafting in common. Have a blessed day, Laurel!
I was flipping through TH-cam and I am so glad I found your videos. I only had 15 minutes to watch and I have learnt so much already. I have subscribed and looking forward to more videos
I love the way you did card#1. I always put mine down on the glass and I have to be surprised when I lift. Thanks! If I need a lift I can just watch you! But I must say, coffee first! Lol

I’ve been so stressed out lately because I have a craft room full of products and not nearly enough time to use them. Pastes are one thing I love the look of but am not creative enough to come up with new ideas for them. I’ve now watched two videos from you that show them in their gorgeous glory! I’m fixin’ to pull them puppies out an stamp with ‘em! Thanks for the ideas!
Thank you so much Laurel, I really really enjoyed watching you create those amazing and awesome cards. I really really love ❤️ them all, I know you think 🤔 that’s a copout but I do. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Thanks for this video, although it is a couple of years old. I love your creativity and sense of humor.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love that you focused on showing us how to use what we have instead of pushing new products!!
I agree. I'm Norwegian 🇳🇴 we don't have all these products in stores, so to learn how to do it, makes it easier to do with what I got. Thank you for sharing ☺ You are so inspiring ❤

I’m not sure what I loved more. Your sense of humor or your creativity. I’m gonna go with both. You are amazing at both. 😊 ❤️
And just like that, another descriptive word arrives! Thank you for sharing "Swinking". A most useful phrase!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Wow Laurel, beautiful renditions and cards. Technique #1 with the watercolor look… swinking, really?!? 🤣😆😂… thanks for sharing and welcome back. 😃👍🏾

I don't normally like butterflies. This is a great stamp and I think my fave was coloring it!!
Thanks again Laurel! You always help me find some inspiration when I am running low. I like the first 2 cards best…. Just adding that washi tape made the card pop …. Would have never thought to do that. I guess that is why you make the videos, and I watch them. Always love the simple ideas best! 😊
