Kristi you have opened up these 65 year old East Tennessee eyes to a whole new world. I also LOVED the Bag Lady video. One of your BEST ones. Thank you BOTH.
Wow, beautiful work, stunning and gorgeous! Thanks for interviewing him! I am totally blown by his creations and creativity, it's about time that more people hear of his talent. He is absolutely right, those crochet jackets are something I have never seen before. Oh, and I LOVE Erykah, too!
I have never seen such creativity in crochet pieces...just lovely...I mean DYNAMIC! Thanks for introducing us to such a creative, talented and sweet man 😊. Nacinimod you definitely need to be at Vogue!
Another amazing interview Christie! I immediately thought when seeing Nassat’s beautiful work, I want those patterns! Nassau, your creations are amazingly beautiful. When I learned that you didn’t have patterns for your work I was at first selfishly disappointed but then I understood why you would not want to see your creations every time you turned around. And you would!! I think some who only knit would learn to crochet just to be able try and copy your Beautiful.... Dynamic....... creations. Christie, I applaud you once again for your introduction to Nassau, another fabulous artist!!
Thank you, Kristy Glass! This is one of your best interviews, yet. Thoroughly enjoyed. Mr Nassat Nacinimod is such an inspiration. Can’t wait to follow him on Instagram. Thank you for introducing him to us.
DYNAMIC....such wonderful work! Great interview! I like this approach of bringing artists, known and unknown, in to talk about their work. Keep up the good work!
Best Manch interview yet! DYNAMIC, indeed!! Thank you for sharing, Kristy!! The learning, the exposure to fiber art genuises continues. Put this one in your lineup, Blueprint!!
Such a talented guy. I’m kinda sad he doesn’t write patterns though, he could be the Stephen West of the crochet world. I’d love to wear some of his designs 💗
Nassat is such a cool guy! He is one of a kind! Love him and his creations. Keep it up and keep learning. Thanks for this interview. It was one of your best!!!
A dynamic interview ❤️ ... a inspirational motivator for the world of crochet ... as soon as I started watching I shared with my daughter, a self taught crocheter
So happy to experience this interview! I watched the livestream that Nancy shared about a year ago as well - Nassat Nation is a design and construction genius !✨
Using the word of the day, thank you both for the dynamic interview. This was truly something new that I have not seen before. After watching, I am encouraged to branch out a bit more with my knitting.
I am happy that you featured Nacinimod. He is such a talented man. I just love his style. He definitely need to be featured at VKL. That would be amazing.
Thank you both for this interview! The crochet jackets are fantastic (erm, also Dynamic)! I’m a longtime crocheter (knit too, now) and wonder what yarns (fiber tupes and yarn construction types) the artist most likes to use for the structured items, the trim, etc. would totally pay for an advanced construction class if the artist were to offer one via internet platform or in person (Boston area). Thanks!
DYNAMIC INTERVIEW It's great seeing a man crocheting at your level, keep up the great work my Caribbean brother. One disagreement I have with you, crochet is not a dying art. Have you seen the European runways? crochet is always on the runway. Trini to the bone.
Love the pieces man! I feel you on the U.S. thinking because you do yarn and fabric craft/work that you are somehow less a man. I used to hide size 30 and 80 thread in my ruck or pocket when I was an infantryman to do my rehab work on my hands by making fine crochet lace. The thread was small enough as was my hook that I could hide it and not get harassed by my brothers for doing a “woman’s thing”. Nowadays I do it all in public and don’t give a rats 🐀 what they think. Being part of the broke dick brigade I have to have something I can still do to keep my mind active. Keep up the crafting, learning, and teaching the young how to do a craft for enjoyment no matter the social stigmas.
DYNAMIC! Last winter while in Jamaica in the Blue Mountains, a woman WALKED an hour for me to help her with knitting after hearing about the Dotted Rays shawl I had brought. Maybe you should start a Knitters without Borders outreach program.
Wow! Beautiful and creative work! Who knew crochet could be so cutting edge.
I absolutely love his designs!!! He is extremely gifted. Thank you for sharing his story Kristy.
Another fantastic Manch. Nassat Nacinimod's crochet work is wonderful to see. Love his designs! Many thanks!

Loved this! Crochet & Caribbean, Perfect Mixx!

I have never seen such creativity in crochet pieces...just lovely...I mean DYNAMIC! Thanks for introducing us to such a creative, talented and sweet man 😊. Nacinimod you definitely need to be at Vogue!

Good interview. Thanks.
What kinds of fiber are used in this work? Fresh and exciting pieces.
Awesome interview! I happened to be crocheting, too.
What is the music video his garments are in?
What a cool guy! Great interview too. Did you find out what types of yarn(s) he uses?
Those are fabulous!
Thank you both for this interview! The crochet jackets are fantastic (erm, also Dynamic)! Amazing interview Kristy. I would like to know if Nassat would be interested in making instructional videos for crotchet?
Great interview with a man who creates dynamic, new ideas in crochet. (New to me, anyway) 🧶😍
