Absolutely fantastic mate. This video is literally the best early Christmas present I could have wished for. I’ve been trying to crack this version since the beginning of COVID on and off, and couldn’t get more than 40/50% of it perfect. In the end, I decided to do an acoustic version instead loosely based on the Budokan version. You’ve totally nailed it buddy! Also, love the addition of a Bigsby on yours too. I’m praying they play this next year live again, but not holding my breath. Such an underrated tune! 👏🏻

You could go into settings and put the speed at .75 or .5 and see what I'm doing. I haven't used tabs for years because I was getting frustrated with how many incorrect ones there are out there. @craighumphrey8698 this is the anniversary edition, so it has 2 10" speakers in, but they all sound very similar. I can't recommend them enough. I picked this up on gumtree for 150 quid and it's the best 150 quid I've ever spent. Lots of options round the back as well, I use emulated output to record my guitar and it sounds almost identical to what's coming out of the speaker. I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you go for one of these 👍

Hey mate Merry Christmas. Hope you’re having a good one. Please could you tell me how you play that little lick that is between 38-40 seconds and appears quite a bit in the song. A few times in long intro. Think I got it sounding right with 14th and 15th fret G and B then down to 12th and 13th same strings but can’t work out the little bit after it doesn’t look like you move your fingers much from there. I was playing 12th and 12th and back to 12th and 13th but only bit in whole intro I can’t get right. Cheers mate

When I'm on 12 on b and 12 on G the next little bit is just a hammer on to 13 on the b then back to 12 again. It looks like I'm not moving my fingers much because I'm barring both the 12th fret notes with my 1st finger and the little hammer on I use my middle finger. Have a few tries at that and you'll get it in no time, you have it already figured out, just work out the feeling for it 👍

Is it a must to have a semi hollow guitar and crank up the volume a lot? Whatever tips would be appreciated!! And keep going with your covers !!
@@nirmaljoseph1402Thanks so much mate! A semi isn't essential but it does help, anything with humbuckers would do it. I use a 5w Blackstar HT5 amp with a little gain just to give me some break up, it is set quite loud. I then boost my signal with a Keeley Compressor then stack some overdrive pedals on top. I'm currently using a sib Echodrive and a clone of a tube driver. I'll get a little more gain out of each of these pedals but careful not to dial in too much drive or it starts to get muddy. Onto leads I use a clone of a Cornish SS2 and a boss DD3 👍

@pauljohnstone547 man it's amazing the way you get that sound. It's like a wall of sound just like the be here now tour. Like a haze of smoke and feedback😎. What's the secret ? Is it a must to have a semi hollow guitar and crank up the volume a lot? Whatever tips would be appreciated!! And keep going with your covers !!
@@nirmaljoseph1402Thanks so much mate! A semi isn't essential but it does help, anything with humbuckers would do it. I use a 5w Blackstar HT5 amp with a little gain just to give me some break up, it is set quite loud. I then boost my signal with a Keeley Compressor then stack some overdrive pedals on top. I'm currently using a sib Echodrive and a clone of a tube driver. I'll get a little more gain out of each of these pedals but careful not to dial in too much drive or it starts to get muddy. Onto leads I use a clone of a Cornish SS2 and a boss DD3 👍
