Thanks man! Yeah that would have been some gig to be at, they were absolutely on top form. This and Columbia in particular are 2 of the best versions I have ever heard them do.
@@lazaglider check further back in my videos, I have actually done that and had forgotten. I may re do it cos the camera could be better and was one of my first videos. It's there anyway if you want to check it out 👍
3:01. The sound upon which this solo centres. The sound which every live version of this song hinged. At this gig, Noel perfected it. I have considered it the best version of the solo that I got to hear live or have heard since. You just took that moment and somehow made it even more incredible. I hate to think how much work you have put into these covers, because they are not 'good covers' or 'almost the same' or 'nearly got the tone' type covers, they are 'holy shit, perfect; covers. Sincere thanks, Yours, a grumpy Oasis fan who has no time for half arsed covers.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my content. I really appreciate it and feedback like this is what makes it worthwhile doing these live covers. So again thank you! I agree, this version of Gas Panic is the best I have heard and is the reason I picked it to cover. I have plenty more stuff coming up so keep an eye out and hope you enjoy my other stuff too 👍
@@AndrewHawkes-uj5ux absolutely brilliant mate! Glad you managed to get sorted! We are Murrayfield on the Tue. 👍 Tried for Heaton park on the Saturday the tickets went on sale but well..... You know how Saturday went.
Thanks man! It's called rotary. I have used an old line 6 MM4 for it. I recommend it, you can pick them up for pretty cheap on reverb or eBay. It has 4 banks on it you can save your settings on and has loads of modulation effects, trem, chorus, phaser, pan. It's like having 4 pedals in one.
Blackstar HT5r anniversary edition amp on overdrive channel, line 6 mm4 on the rotary setting for intro, boss dd3, boss SD1 for leads and a Dunlop crybaby wah.
I'm not sure about that to be honest, it does list copyright on my videos too, but I think that may be just so people can't make money off the owners original material. I'm just guessing though.
@@pauljohnstone547 Thx. I have read about that. Its “normal” but Im Impressed how much comments and likes you have . And my channel not, but who cares!? We love Oasis and other bands. Danke !

Can you share what pedals etc you’re using for the different solo sections? Obviously some form of wah (vox?) for the main section, but what else?
My tickets booked for Heaton Park Paul 💪
