Guys… This is so freaking awesome. As much as you were sad about the other trailer this one is going to bring you so many possibilities. Love it.
I'm a retired A/C and refrigeration tech. I'll be glad to donate my time to help you with getting the wall hung Bard unit going. Before you venture to running power to the air conditioner, check the voltage on the unit. There should be a sticker on the side of the unit outside. You want to be sure the voltage is 208/230 singe phase. It would be unusable to you if it's 460 3 phase or 230 3 phase.
you are kind
Thank you, we appreciate it.
Nice😃
@@DrZarkloff I love when people share their knowledge in a sensible way. Good advice right off in respect to the voltage sticker. I have no clue what it means but Doug probably does.
How generous and kind. I just subscribed to your channel! ❤
Keep the bathroom!!! Just make it smaller!! Working on your projects! It’s pouring rain! Potty break! Run in the rain back out again!!!This made me think about the room y’all redid on previous property and your fun ideas for it! Excited to see what y’all decide!
@nancy1002 That was my thought too.
Oooh! Maybe if Eevee wanted to go a little deeper in her photography, y'all could turn the bathroom into a darkroom for her! It's aready got the right kind of flooring & is plumbed for a sink. It'd be such an easy conversion. I'm super excited for whatever you eventually do. 😊
The darkroom idea would be awesome actually.
I love your dark room 💡
Heres a suggestion: strip down the pull-along trailer that is damaged to the frame and make yourself a nice hauling trailer with to haul your equipment with. Such as your excavator or mowers ect on. I'm sure you could strip it down to the frame and put a floor in it and ramps on the back of it and it would make an excellent trailer to haul your equipment on. That would Be much cheaper than you having to go buy one. Just a thought.
@@CC-Rider4564 if he wants to do that he has to add to the frame of the trailer , these trailers sides are part of the construction preventing the trailer from buckling in the middle without the body the frame is pretty anemic and whont support a digger
@@watahyahknow it has the bones to do it I've done it so Yes it can be done. It has a bottom frame on it it has to. So you can't tell me it can't be done because I know better than that.
As my mother used to say "everything happens for a reason." Now you have something even better! Great job, guys.
What a great purchase!!!!! I know you’ll make the best of the space whatever that might be. I’d at least keep a sink with running water. That’s always handy especially if you are doing something that your hands might get dirty.
Congratulations!
Thank you for sharing👍🏻
Thank you. We'll consider everything.
@@diyfferent also……Stay safe with Hurricane Milton on the horizon. Thoughts and prayers are with your family🙂
This proves what I live by. In my late 30's I stopped looking at things that happen to me as horrible. As I have gotten older, I have embraced the theory that everything happens for a reason and that God works them all to good in the end. This is so very awesome. Congrats 🎉 Keep the bathroom - my 2 cents.
❤️❤️❤️
Everybody with kids needs two bathrooms
Good to see you energised and moving forward with the new trailer after the trauma of the workshop. Time to secure everything, batten down the hatches and ride out Milton.
Then up and at it with the new project.
I was absolutely heartbroken when the tree fell on your 'workshop/trailer'........you work so hard for everything you have......but why should I have doubted that you guys wouldn't spring right back into action !!!! Your family is so inspirational, keep spreading your inspiration- anything can be accomplished with hard work & ingenuity!
I remember watching yesterday after the mishap and saw Doug with puffiness under his eyes. So sorry you lost your workshop, watched you reinforce it and add electrical, lots of hard work.
That might the slickest way to have an instant workshop. Seriously. I’m here for it. Geeze is Doug excited? I don’t know lol.
Y’all are awesome! Y’all never let things keep you down long and you aren’t afraid of new opportunities! It’s inspiring. Thanks for the video. 😀🎉
Keep the bathroom, can’t wait to see what you do with the re-do
this looks like such an easy fix for you too - congrats on finding it!
Great purchase! If you all are anywhere near Hurricane Milton's path, stay safe!
Love your positivity. I was so sad about your workshop accident, but LOOK how fast you're bouncing back! Thanks for the update!!
I enjoy all your projects, and I think a craft room for Ashley and Bell would be a wonderful gift for the girls❤❤
That'll be awesome for you. Please stay safe AGAIN. We hope you're not in the direct path of the storm and tornadoes.
Hoping you are all staying safe with the new storm hitting Florida.
You are great. Keep on keeping on. Bless you. Be safe with the coming storm.
Yes!! Watching now!
Hi Family,
Woohoo,,,,PERFECT!
I knew y’all would come up
with a good plan. Good job guys!
Stay safe, praying for Florida,,,God Bless ❤
Thank you!
This is awesome. I can’t wait to see what you guys do with the new building. I hope you all are safe with Milton coming in. You’re in my 🙏🏻.
I have been in many an office trailer. I think it was a brilliant decision for you!! There is so much potential! Yet, there is no huge hurry to do anything except seal the leaks.
You two are a constant source of amazement!!!
Great solution guys! We bought an office trailer about 30 years ago and renovated it for our deer lease trailer. Best decision ever. Sturdy construction and still serves us well today!
I think you made an excellent choice. Plus it will give you a project for us. Love watching you two repair these trailers, and you're really good at it.
Thank you :)
If Evee used traditional photography that bathroom would make a great dark room to develop her film
You certainly made some lemonade with those lemons you were handed. That office building is awesome. I know you guys will turn that place into an amazing palace to suit your needs. I’m so happy that Eevee will have a special place to do her hobbies. She’s such a hard worker and deserves to have a place to relax and enjoy her interests. I would never presume to tell you what to do with your place. It needs to suit your lifestyle not mine. It will be such a relief for you all to have space to put all your things now. Congratulations and well done. You deserve it. 😊😊😊😊
I learned years ago from the Amish and other farmers that you should ALWAYS build your barn (garage, if you’re building a house) first. You can live in that while you build/refurbish the actual living space. But, since you began with the refurbishing, you kind of got the cart before the horse. Still, you take your time and do a very good job. So I’m sure this will work out for you. I would just encourage you to get the “barn” done before you return to either of the homes. You guys do great work. Hope the storms spare you and you all stay safe.
As tempting as it sounds to take the bathroom out is sure does come in handy to have a place to clean up, or use the bathroom while working without going through the house.
That trailer will be a walk in the park for you guys! However, my husband calls me "Ms. MaryGloomandDoom." My thinking is, that with all of those doors and windows, your expensive tools and supplies will be at risk for theft. Some window bars or some other security device might be a thought. ( My husband has thanked his gloom and doom wife on more than one occasion.) By the way, I think the trailer is spectacular! God bless.
Hi Eevee and Doug, congratulations on your new storage room. So much potential and perfect for your needs. So pleased you found a great solution. And Eevee hobby room is a great size.
Bathroom into a dark room. A studio space for Eevee and Belle they're both so artistic. Your whole family is amazing.
haha, a darkroom would actually be super cool.
I have never been inside an office trailer. That is a great building! Storage space solved!!! And in place of a garage, have u considered a cement pad with a roof, so you could work out of the mud and out of the sun.
That could be a good idea but an enclosed space would be so handy too. We'll just keep moving forward and see where it leads us.
Brilliant! So many options---and such a quick solution for your immediate needs also. Congratulations!
Great find!
Def agree with others on keeping the bathroom, you never know, this could even turn into a guest house for your adult kids to visit with their children when the time comes……
Nice find if anyone will make great use of it will be Ashley and Doug
What a find. Congrats.
You may want to consider the bathroom. If you're working in the unit, ablutions are a real plus. All in all, excellent.
great choice!! My prayer was that disaster would be a good pivot for you. So I'm very thankful. I think you'd be glad of a toilet-sink-in-one if you plan to spend a few hours at a time in there...
So happy for you guys. There’s nothing like getting all your stuff organised ❤
So happy you're turning lemon into lemonade. You're so committed and work so hard - you deserve all the progress you're working towards. Joy & Peace to your family.
Your voice shows us how much u love and appreciate your wife
Doug and Eevee - good luck with your new project! I'll keep you and your family in my prayers that Milton doesn't cause you problems.
Take care and God Bless
Like the old saying, “ when life throws you lemons, just make some lemonade out of them”… 🤙 sometimes something might look like a tragic thing in life at that moment, but it’s God way sometimes to get us to move. In the end you look back and ask yourself, “ was that a tragedy or was that actually was a blessing?” 🤔 stay safe my friends…
My trailer is a 1970 model 12'x46' 2 bed/1bath. Got it for an absolute steal at only $850. pulled it out of its old home and towed it back with my 98 Detroit diesel K3500 crew cab dually lol. Awesome replacement and can't wait to see all the repairs and upgrades!
Hi, Eevee is so cute she deserves to have her own space so she can thrive. Can't wait to see her doing things she loves doing.
Yay! Another project on the horizon!
Nice space, so many possibilities!
Hope you guys are safe, the images of the hurricane are scary.
I would keep the bathroom, the rest of the space is amazing, l wish I could find something like this in Australia to use for storage and guest accommodation, good luck with your quick renovation, everything you do is beautifully finished, you got this 😊
Hi Doug Eevee Belle & Maverick,so happy you found another building.Just love all you do Doug & Eevee.❤️
Enhorabuena. Sois los mejores . Saludos
When a door closes, a window opens. Blessings to all from Oregon and please be safe from Milton. Love you guys!
I suggest you reduce the size of the bathroom but keep it cause it’s always good to have a hand washing facility and toilet outside when you’re gardening etc and then you don’t dirty up home bathroom and floors with dirty shoes. And Evee will need it when she has her special area ❤
You two are so amazing. Taking lemons and making lemonade. Positivity is the way of the life ahead. You’re making a good life for your family. The kids are lucky to have a life of adventure. 😊❤
I was expecting a container but this is fantastic- if it was me I would keep the bathroom but reduce its size, it would be very useful when your working either at night or during rainy weather- I genuinely can’t wait to see what you do
Beautiful Kitty! I'm so happy for you all!
wow ... well done , I have to admit that I actually burst out laughing... even though I think it is a great idea... very good potential ... keep the bathroom!!!!!! if you don't want to hook it up to the septic get a composting toilet??? often used in tiny homes..
excellent size as well, I am smiling ... :)
put in a small rainwater tank and put decent guttering to catch FREE rain water.... you definitely get plenty of rain... always good to have very popular, even in the burbs, in Aussie.
Yes...a composting toilet for when you lose power.
So excited for this find. Something I have thought of as converting into a home. Yet it will be great for an artist studio plus a craft space. Have a great time with the conversion. I look forward to your restoration process and all your solutions and creative fixes.
This is a great solution! I’d keep the bathroom but downsize it. If you’re going to do projects in the trailer you will thank yourself in the long run for having water and a potty 😂
Way to turn it around. I'm so excited about the amount of space you just acquired. I wish you'd leave the bathroom but if you're only using it for storage and not spending time out there, that makes sense. I'm SO happy for you. I can't wait to see what you do with it. I know you've been stressing about storage. Congrats!
Oh fun, another project that you will do amazing things with! I think this is brilliant! Way to go guys!
Praying for your safety. ❤ all your projects.
I am so happy for you guys. Use the building your way.
Congratulations ! Good choice! Now you have plenty of room ! 🎉❤
I think this is a brilliant solution! And love Eeve will gain her space!!! Yeah!!! I know you two will make it wonderful!!
I am sitting here smiling. You have fallen into a bed of roses. Fantastic!!! All new things are happening. Bless 👍🙏🏻❤️
What a marvelous idea! I admire how you both put on your thinking caps and come up with wonderful ideas.
This looks like the trailer situation is a blessing in disguise that you sadly lost; now you have this new one that bigger with more potential. Looking forward to seeing how you make it your own. I know it will be fun to see with your creativity. I was so sad to see your loss but knew you would find a way to make the most of it for the better.
You guys make lemonade out of lemons all the time. Fantastic
Congratulations on the find and new storage space! God bless
In the ancient world there was a phrase for people who emigrated to Ireland only to embrace Irish culture more than the natives. "More Irish than the Irish." I say this with love and admiration. I think yall have become more Florida than the Floridians. Framing adding an old trailer to your yard as a great development is ... probably the most Florida thing you've done yet. Saying it with love and good humor.
Looks great. sending you guys prayers. Milton looks like it's going to be a beast. god bless you and your family. and all of Florida.
Would be practical to have a functional toilet in your workshop
With 2 upcoming teens another bathroom/commode is always a GOOD thing …
Keep the bathroom... you'll regret it if you take it out.... Thanks for sharing.... I like the office trailer....
Perfect storage!! Nice workshop!!
You guys definitely needed this space fast, besafe out there, with the storm coming.
Stay safe during all this crazy weather! So happy you found something affordable that will meet your needs
My first thought is keep the bathroom. Just for the convenience to wash your hands after a project and incase of an unexpected emergency. Lol. And with the size that it is now you could make it a bit smaller to give more space in the other room.
When i was watching the last video when the tree fell on the trailer, I kept thinking...something good will come your way and it did! This is a fantastic space!! Looking forward to seeing the changes y'all make!
Great solution! So much space with so many possibilities.
You could build a really nice covered deck for it, paint it to match your house, almost like a granny cottage. 😊
What a happy and fun outcome to a disappointing situation. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
Wow! And I bet you got a great deal on it too. I’d like to find me a small one for all my crafting supplies and a place to do them in instead of my Livingroom. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.
What a great buy! Storage and a work space for Evee! You could divide the back room and she can have a photo studio where she can develop your pictures instead of sending to someone to do. Looking forward for the new plans ❤
I love how you guys juggle multiple projects at once. You are amazing and so fun!
Wow, what an upgrade I felt really bad about the trailer disaster and how much a problem that was gonna be and now that I see how you guys were able to bounce back with something better things happen for a reason
Yes, on your way now. You always need storage and of course Evie needs her own space for crafts, puzzles or even just her own space.
Great find and great timing since the loss of your storage shed !Happy for you and Evie gets her own space for projects!!! Yay!
A small 1/2 bath would be a good thing to have.
How terrific is THIS?! ❤❤❤ storage and work area!!! Plus a bathroom!
Get some Eternabond tape that they use to seal around all the RV vents. Watch a few vids to see it applied. The stuff is a bit pricey but you probably won't need that much of it. It's amazing. Also, I'd keep the lavatory, but just make it smaller. Seems like a lot of wasted space. If you don't keep it, I would suggest at least keeping running water and a sink.
Awesome choice for you both. I knew you’d do something unusual and interesting. This reno is going to be fun. ❤❤
Hey--I know you said you didn't want to hook up the bathroom, but I have to tell you I think you would find that pretty handy! It's just nice to have a sink (and toilet maybe) that's not in the house when you're working on projects and you don't want to touch anything in the house because your hands are messy. We have a sink in the garage that we use when we're working outside, and I have not regretted putting that in. Just a thought!
Great idea. Makes perfect sense.
Haha you’re like a kid with a new toy! I love your optimism. Doug and Eevee you never cease to amaze me! I love arching this channel.
I would keep the bathroom but make it smaller. Still can make a storage room next to the bathroom. Makes it easier then have to go to the house all the time.
❤ There are SO many options for what you need. Happy for you all! I sure wish that we had one!!
Im praying Milton dont mess with you guys ❤❤🎉
My suggestion
is fix roof first
so it's not
leaking. Then
level up and
block up the
trailer. And
after that fix
a room/area
for storage.
And then
what ever else
you want to
do after that.
What a find for your storage and craft needs! Love your projects and look forward to seeing the renovation. Congratulations!
Really consider keeping your bathroom .a workshop that size is important .even a larger sink ( very handy }.
