Did those not meet the length requirement? If so, what length does it have to be ?
I get chicken liver from Walmart. Add a lot of salt to it. Keep it in the refrigerator until I'm ready to go fishing. The salt toughens it up, so it stays on the hook better.

Like what consistency are you looking for when you first put the salt in? Is it all wet and soupy does it dry out when in the fridge over time? What am I looking for when applying this method
@@joeylamzon3990 Just hard enough that you can cut it with a knife, so it does not make a mess and get all mushy. Overnight or one extra day in the fridge will work. Chicken liver is so cheap, you can experiment with it and find the way you like it.
