    Another fantastic tutorial. With this as well as your ReaSynth tutorial, you not only make viewers understand the plugins themselves but the terminology that all Synths and Reverbs share, meaning you can apply these techniques to any and all synths and verbs because the terminology is universal.
    Keep going with these!

    Nice video! I appreciate how you don't just explain the parameters but show how they can be used artistically in common real-world situations.

    Brilliant tutorial. Gonna save that FX chain next time I run Reaper. Never used Reaverbate much, as I didn't find it very versatile, but you've definitely changed my mind.

    This may be a stupid question. But what are you using to shortcut your faders back to zero/center/unity? I see you using this with your mouse and I feel like it's such a small thing, but would be a massive time saver for me. Thanks!

    • @kkell27
      @kkell27 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Never mind. I was looking at keyboard shortcuts when It's just a double-click! I feel so stupid. Well I'll leave this here for anyone who might need to know.

    Why do you turn off the dry sound?

  • @dzamija922
    @dzamija922 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why does that slight pitch shifting thing happen at the beginning of the reverb? This plugin is awesome and the only thing that annoys me is just that, is there any way to get rid of it? Like as soon as the drum hits it's like the pitch goes up a little

  • @Albatrosspro1

    Since your instrument tracks are still routing to the M/P send, we are also getting the dry instrument sound in addition to the wet reverb sound coming from the Reverb track, correct? Is this a normal way to use reverb, to mix it with the original sound? Maybe I am missing something but this is how it looks to me, just wanted to double check.

    Whats the difference between Reaverb and Reaverbate

  • @verbluten84527
    @verbluten84527 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Kenny, I have a question. While using the reaverbate in vocals and guitar why don't we put it in the fx folder of their track but instead into another track as "fx return". The drum tracks are multiple but guitars and vocals in this video are single tracks. Do we really need another track for the fx?

    • @DoritoStyle
      @DoritoStyle ปีที่แล้ว

      For single tracks not really, but the idea is that, like with his drums part, you send multiple tracks (guitar, vocals, drums) to the same FX Return to create some unity/glue in the mix.

    Video is good , but very difficult to understand some of the words spoken , and the subtitles are inaccurate and not helping at all.
