Why choose? Install all of them. LOL. I use Virtualbox for when I'm in a distro hopping mood and want to quickly try various operating systems out. I use QEMU for managing servers running Arch when I want to grow my neckbeard.
Well, I installed all of them anyways, because I find it hard to choose. But then still the question rises, if I'm installing a new OS in one of them, which one. All four? I only have limited storage XD
Please help me, I am new to VM. If we choose processor core and memory more then I have in the pc I am using while setting up, how will it perform? If I setup 128gb RAM, will it work like 128gb? Does this setup a virtual machine offline or online?
The software "should" not allow you to select more than the system can allow, for example I have 32gb of ram and a 24 core processor. All of these "should" have those specs as a total limit on what is available. I can now select a happy medium to allow the host system ( the computer I'm installing the virtual machine on) to continue running with enough resources so, I would probably have the virtual machine setup with 4 cores and 8gb of memory so the host still has 20 cores and 24gb of ram left. then if I want to try another virtual machine at the same time using the same 4 core and 8gb setup I can run 2 virtual machines and the host still has 16 cores and 16gb of memory to hold all 3 operating systems together. Hope this is helpful, I have limited knowledge. The network setup will be a virtual adapter you can enable/disable in options, this is a bit like the hotspot we use when using a phone to share the internet with another device.
I have been VirtualBox for years, I am comfortable with it. I tried VMware, I did not like it. I know if someone has been using VMware, they also are comfortable with it might not like VirtualBox
I also used vbox for years but have switched to VMware Workstation. The extra GPU performance makes it a clear winner since I want to use it for CAD work.
@@qwertwewefon any linux distros qemu/kvm is the best for performances and overall but if you want a mixture of performance and user friendliness, vmware.
¿vmware dices que es más ligero que virtualbox, KVM o Hyper-V? Pero si VMware es más avanzado que virtualbox como va a ser más ligero, qemu si que lo es @@ThatYahoo

thanks for the video
vmware is best hyper v is shit and virtualbox is okay but the full screen switching way is shit.
Esto. VMware es mejor que qemu? Estoy de acuerdo en que el cambio de pantalla en vbox es una caca
