thejessemoran I live in Janesville. I mostly musky fish, but like fishing for everything. I spend a lot of time in northern WI and Canada (when the border is open) but also fish other mid western states.
So I see the shallow invader mod to the hooks of your bait. Did you Upsize to 3/0 or did you go with 2's? I love the bait but I keep getting fouled and have switched to a solid wire leader with gentle taps before a straight retrieve.
jarrod roering I just used the hooks that were originally on the bait, just wanted the back hook a little further back and dropped a little for fish that were swiping at the bait. Still hangs up every now and again, but not too bad.
@@AnglingAnarchy Had awful luck with braid where I fish, too much broken concrete. I'm one of the lucky ones that got several batches of bad PowerPro, had 80lb that would break under 45lb. I've sworn off braid, but, have been debating giving it another try.

@@JohnHolliday1911 I've had pretty good luck with most braids. I know some guys don't care for Power Pro and opt for Cortland Master Braid.
