I had a 327 in my '69 Camaro. I bought it for $1100 in 1982 or so when I was 17 years old. It was a great engine! My Dad taught me how to rebuild an engine using that 327. That being said I thought the '70 Camaro Z28 originally came with a 350 cubic inch/360 horsepower LT1 small block engine.

yes no 327s in 1970 the hood ruined it makes it look like a hack job, but this car was a full body gut restoration and it is very well done , try to put the glass back in is a pain and not chip the new paint

I had the same car in the late 80's / early 90's. Same 701/2 RS Z28. 350 w/M21 4 speed and deluxe interior (wood grain inserts in doors and full center console) and same exact color. It had a 675hp LT1 (slightly modded) with the double snorkel air cleaner. It did have the 6 inch spoiler and high back seats because it looked better with them. It had solid polished centerlines and flowmasters and it did have the black plastic lower air dam. I went through a few of them. They were easy to damage, but a new one was only $50 back then. Wish I still had it.

I actually test drove one in 1970. It had a four-speed close ratio and 410 rear end. I believe you could just let out the clutch and third gear and burn rubber.😅❤❤

I’m guessing someone blew up the original engine and cheaped out and chose to replace it rather then fix it which significantly lowers the value substantially

If I remember correctly, Z-28's only came with the small spoiler? I ordered a 1971 SS Camaro with the large spoiler package, and 4 speed, 350, wish I still had it!

That is a true Rally Sport Z28 with the real Rally Sport Z28 urethane split bumper front end not just a regular camaro that people took the long bumper off and called it a split bumper camaro.

Very clean and very cool car, but I find myself mostly agreeing with the purists. I love the 327 motor, had one in a '68 Malibu with 300hp with a powerglide trans that ran AWESOME!!! But for a TRUE '70 Camaro Z28, the 350/360hp LT-1 motor is DEFINITELY the one to have if you're going to do a high quality restoration, and spend the money on a car like this. It's just a matter of personal taste/preference for me, but stock Corvette rally rims, and the correct hood with the split bumper nose would definitely finish the look. It's still very cool, has the stance and definitely looks good as is though!! Someone will end up with a very nice ride!!! Thanks again Dalton!!! Best Wishes!!

I like the Gen 2 Camaros better than the Gen 1. Born Z28 is a plus, RS is definitely the more desirable nose cap style. Paint and body are beautiful too. It needs the LT1 360 hp 350 cu in motor it was born with, also don't want to have to hunt down original 1970 Z28 rally wheels for it. Show quality for this car is questionable. Has it been restored or just a well kept survivor? What else has been done to it that's not shown? 62k way too steep for too many question marks.
