For those unaware there was a DMC3 Manga that Lasted 2 volumes as far as I know personally. In it there was a strong Alice in wonderland theme going on with a Rabbit demon thing acting almost like Arkaham's agent. It was set before DMC3 and was setting up how the tower got raised with Vergil releasing Demons who Sparda had taken their names its not shown but it is implied these might be the Guardians like Cerberus and so forth. Sadly the Manga was cancelled before the plot could do more then set up its basics and its cast. It was actually good art and the story seemed decent from what I recall.
But the reason why I bring this up is that Rabbit at the end? Yeah that is probably the same Rabbit from the Manga so they might be using parts of it for their show.

Considering SMT has a crap load of multiversing time traveling shenanigans that can defined in game terms New Game+, Demi-fiend meeting young Dante isn’t too far off.

And after what was done to Peak of Combat after years of deserved hype, only to get a watered down husk of the game on global release. I played the old version and it was worthy of being held alongside 3, 4 and 5. Would've definitely eased the blow of Itsuno leaving if the last game we got wasn't a butchered stain on the series legacy

Luckily Adi Shankar is a huge DMC fanboy and even cosplayed as Dante from 3, plus I'm pretty sure he was a producer on the Catlevania animes. The only thing is that he said its gonna be it's own universe but with similar plot details from the games and other media (not including the edgy reboot)

@@Neoxon619 Nero voice as young Dante is such an odd argument because we already know how young Dante sounds like, and JYB isn't even bothering to make his Dante voice sound different from Nero at least to not confuse the audience, people are already thinking there's a plot twist where it turns out it's Nero pretending to be Dante just based on the voice alone.
If y'all think their voices sound similar "makes sense" because the characters are uncle and nephew....then young Vergil should also be played by JYB because they're literally father and son 😒 such a weak argument.

Castlevania started as an adaptation of Castlevania 3's story before going off in its own direction for Seasons 3 and 4.
This is adapting the DMC3 prequel manga, from the look of it.

The reason why is because Dante doesn't have Ebony and Ivory yet, which is made by Nero's friend Nicole's grandmother. But yeah, definitely an adaption of the DMC3 prequel manga, the demon that is based on the rabbit of Alice in Wonderland is there.

Well, I'm a little confused... At 0:11 we can see that Rebelion is already in awakened form, which means this must take place after DMC3. However, he does not use Ebony and Ivory. It seems that, at least in the frame at 0:31, he has two Berettas in his hands, and in one of the frames before that he took a Beretta out of a pizza box. And after Nell’s death, he always used only her pistols, which is logical both from the point of view of efficiency and from the point of view of the emotional background, because it was Ebony and Ivory who remained unchanged until the very end, when Dante jumped into Hell with them.

My guess is because dmc5 reintroduced the events of the first light novel into the series, this is gonna be a sort of retelling of it while using elements from the dmc3 manga.
