Really good review. Very thorough and well explained and demonstrated. Going to get one of these to walk the Pennine Way.

I'm a big fan of the Froggtogg Poncho backed up with the thermarest Honcho Pancho.

I haven't used them. I do have the standard froggtog rain suit that's pretty handy.

Can you "connect" TWO of the OneWind poncho's together to make a larger shelter ? I see Velcro where the snaps would normally be...

I could definitely "Bushcraft " something but they don't just snap together.

Hay Jamie what about the plow point configuration? Great video..bought this poncho a year ago ..used it twice as shelter both time no troubles in stormy weather. It rides in my Haversack 90% of the time due too the fact it's my :OH SHIT EMERGENCY SHELTER.

Plow Point is a great shelter. It's the fastest shelter to set up.

Great review. Do you think it would work with a USGI ponco liner? Thanks.

It would work with the Onewind Top Quilt. I am not a fan of the woobie

    What size did you test? I see there is 89" x 56" and 98" x 56".
I'm 6' 6" so just wondering which one is in the video?

Killer review! Are you still using and enjoy this? Also, just curious what kind of stakes you used for the shelter section?
    Thanks!
