- Earthquake returned for another VladTV exclusive, where he spoke on a variety of topics. The comedian talked about snitching and prison culture before commenting on the Capitol insurrection on Jan 6. He continued by offering his thoughts on Black celebrities cosigning former President Donald Trump and engaged in a debate with DJ Vlad about Dave Chappelle getting 'The Chappelle Show' pulled from Netflix. Earthquake also spoke on Bill Cosby and R. Kelly before revealing his relationship issues. He also explained why he has not been in an interracial relationship with a White woman and said why he referred to Paul Mooney as a gay uncle.

Earthquake blessed my heart by not being willing to let Vlad stroke his ego. He acknowledged that Dave Chappelle was not just any other comedian. That is why he could disappear for 12 years and return stronger than ever....he did it on HIS name!! Being a “fan” doesn’t mean you know all of the facts.
Also, Dave Chappelle’s name is stronger than Vlad’s will ever be..that is why his audience’s consumer power can make Comedy Central reconsider the original contract. By one statement, Dave can reduce the value of the show to nothing. That’s business.

He's a white guy with a business and he feels threatened that talent, especially historically exploited black talent that has had little power, would stand up to big business and put themselves in a position to negotiate effectively and get more money, so as not to be so damn desperate for white businessmen to employ (exploit) them. No I disagree, there’s a huge push for minority comedians in Hollywood. Just like the cannabis business they are giving huge opportunities for minorities to start in business. 1) Dave cast Charlie Murphy. He knew him. Same with all of those other folks like Donnell Rawlings, Paul Mooney, etc.
2) He acted out the damn skits.
3) He greenlit the skit and the editing.
4) He picked Comedy Central to do this show on, so that he had some creative discretion, which he wouldn't get anywhere else. It's obvious, because there's always white executives who are not creative that come out of nowhere to ruin a show, or schedule it on some weird day of the week, or cancel it... they wound up ruining the show, by offering $50 million and basically turning the show into vaudeville blackface modernized. They didn't understand what he was doing. It's like laughing at the racism because of the superficial absurdity, but not getting the deeper satire and message behind the jokes. Laughing at us instead of with us.

Vlad never has all the info nor does ever stay on the real topic of the convo it doesn't matter that Chappelle is wealthy the point of his fight with CC was he signed a bad deal and they didn't even want to pay him all the money he earned. For a contract to be binding both parties have to get something out of it if someone says "I signed a contract saying I have to mow this guys thousand acre land and I got nothing in return." That's not a contract if he didn't mow the land he can't get sued by the guy for breach of contract there was no contract. Dave obviously did get something in return, but he should've gotten more. 2. Even other deals have been so lopsided in one's favor that the contract was broken in court it's called "Unconscionability"
"Lack of Capacity" is that ALL parties have to understand exactly what it is they are agreeing to if 1 doesn't then it's reason enough to void the contract. That's a big reason why minors can't sign legal agreements like that w/o parents what 18yr old or younger will fully understand what this room full of million dollar Corporate lawyers are saying to them other than "yes it's great and here's $100K" meanwhile the fine print says "we own you for 10yrs now and even if we make billions of you you're not entitled to anymore than we decide to give you regardless of it's your work...😁"

People only see a celeb complaining about contracts and think it's not a real issue because all they see is someone they think is terribly rich complaining about not having more money so never actually look into the deeper issue. Yes. Charlie even said himself that Dave had not met Rick James before he portrayed Rick in that particular skit. He was just going off of the narrative of what Charlie told him. He didn't meet Rick James until after the fact lol. Then they edited the pieces of the interview with Rick James into the skit afterwards.
