The reason mother brain sounds like Audrey 2 is because I’m pretty sure it was the same actor. Great video my guy! 💪💪☺️👊😎 Confirmed: Levi Stubbs actor and singer voiced BOTH Mother Brain and Audrey 2. 😃 He passed in 2008. 🙏
How tf is this channel this small? I scrolled down expecting to see at least double digit k subs and a couple hundred comments. Have a sub my man, great content, well produced.
Terrific video! I saved my 8th birthday money to buy Metroid from Toys R Us back in 1987. Playing that game directly led to me getting caught cussing for the first time (after dying from a screen transition enemy collision). So, I really love Metroid. But I sincerely enjoy Zero Mission and think it is a worthwhile first entry for newcomers. Play the old one to see how video games have evolved and how the constraints of the old hardware contributed to game design throughout the years.
Metroid was no joke back in the day. Part of it was the era it was made in, the other part was the way it was made. Two graphic designers from the game and watch team were told to make a game and they spent 10 months designing stuff and spinning their wheels with out having a clue how to put it all together. It’s an interesting story. How Zelda and Metroid Simplified the RPG | Retrospective th-cam.com/video/hERDqOMwDnw/w-d-xo.html
I've been binge watching your content for the past few hours. Sub earned! Great work! May I request that you list the music you use in the video description or include the title in the video when sounds songs change? I think you had the songs listed in the description of at least one video. Would be cool to be able to listen to the songs you chose.
I will have to do that. Quite a bit of it comes from epidemicsound.com. I listed music on another video because the license required I attribute in some way.
It's a much better game than Metroid 1, but I just cannot like it as either a standalone game or a remake. It is a bad mush of Super Metroid and Fusion(All the decent parts carried over from those games are better there, not here), it changes the structure of Metroid 1's progression too much to provide an experience that is "similar, but more polished"(The only time a sequence break is fun and natural feeling is when you can break into Ridley's lair from an alternate entrance and skip the miniboss giving you super missiles. Which is wild because "open map, find your own sequence" is the whole essence of Metroid 1) and its original parts(e. g. stealth section) are decent ideas executed meh at best.
What a friggin amazing channel. A++++++++ stuff. The editing is so good. Subject matter is the best. Can’t wait for the next video!
Thank you for the kind words! I try to be accurate and entertaining at the same time.

another great video dude
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
4:20 A woman of Samus's fitness should NOT have a behind like that!
The first time I finished Zero Mission I didn't think to power bomb that glass tube and explore, same as in Super Metroid I was stuck for a while
Bombing the glass tube in Super Metroid was kind of a mind blower back in 1994.
y'know, I've never actually made it past the stealth segment. I suck at it real bad.
It’s a weird part of the game that really slows down Samus’ movement. You can’t run and gun. You gotta be more methodical and patient.
Nice Video ! Sub & Big Like ! And Love Retro Metroid Game !
Thank you! Glad to have you!
