hey I'm having trouble finding accurate laws for e bikes and scooters where I live (metro Detroit) do you know of a good website or any advice?
Detroit. Basic Legal rules. Scooter.
• 28 mph. 49cc. No licence/registration.
• 28+mph. 49cc. No licence, needs to Registered.
50cc+ needs Licence & Registration.
Ebikes. 750watt motor 28 mph max speed. Are Legal.
Above that that wattage the rules change constantly. This Trail allows Class 1 Ebikes, this one Class 2, this trail class 1&2, this other one class 3, etc...
It gets confusing with the different EbIke Classes.
Rule of Thumb. Keep it Slow under 30 mph. Don't look like a dirt bike, it scares the easy to trigger folks.

Would it be possible to get the measurement from the furthest point on the front wheel to the furthest point on the rear wheel? Can't find this info anywhere online and trying to figure out for mounting purposes in the back of my truck.

I won't buy one while i live in Florida because its only LEGAL off-road on private property or on dirt bike trails.
Not legal on bike trails or on any road.
No way i would buy any ride like this . The crack down has started in the states and it’s only a matter of time until it spreads through all states . I have actually heard the word Sur-Ron coming from cops on what they are looking to get off the streets . Only a matter of time to reach every where . Off road is only place legal for these but many are riding on public roads , sidewalks and even up and down public stairs . (Talk about stupid riding) . I watch videos from hicks or something like that and constantly riding up and down public stairs . These are the stupid type riding which is speeding up laws to get them off the streets .
