Great job again. Girlfriend's elantra GT has the optional LED tail lights from the factory, but I've been thinking of putting in led turn signals for her front and rear to pair it up with the white led lights she has on rest of the car (dome lights, license plate, etc). Edit: just a small tip though not as dire in need as headlights but I recommend using gloves when changing bulbs, oil from hands can aid in premature failure of the bulb due to the residue impacting the glass.
Thanks! I am about to purchase another set for the rear turn signals and possibly the reverse lights just to finish out the back. I know to wear gloves but it never crossed my mind that you should do it with LED's (if that's what you were saying)
it has nothing whatsoever to the person that "did it" or in your case, made the vid, but a statement that talks something like the books."whatever"....for dummies, that meaning Keep It Simple Stupid.....like.....for dummies like us you are explaining this simply and right to the point, thanx again!
hi Justin, you did really god job with appearance of your hyundai. I have europe version called i30, I already replaced plenty of bulbs for LED, I am just not sure if I could change also these rear lights by led. Is there really big difference in look between halogen and led bulbs? I dont even know if you still have elantra but your hyundai looking very good. cheers from Czech republic.
Go ahead and check out some of my videos on my channel and you'll see some more of the modifications I've done! I have the LED OEM tail lights now with full LED turn signals (Front and Rear). Installing new LED bulbs will help with appearance but getting the factory LED light make a HUGE difference!
I installed the HP11's on my Elantra GT and they wouldn't twist in and stay down so I just put them in the hatch taillight. $60 ! Thought they would be good brake lights .
I haven't had time to get the car jacked up and everything to take off the aero panel. I get out this next week for break so stay tuned! If I can access them from their I won't put them in...
+Manuel Bravo Which inside are you referring to? The ones in the hatch or the dome and map lights? I've already done the interior ones in another video if you wanted to check that out!
Can A wire be snake down through the tail light hole through the license plate area in the bumper. I’m trying to run a back up camera through the the tail light area
Yes I believe there is enough room to do that however I dont know how you would access the other side of the hole going into the car from the tail light. I havent had the carpet out so it might have access from behind somewhere but I am not sure where.
@@JustinKelly Someone installed the camera near the third brake light at the top of the hatch. He is claiming that the bumper needs to be removed to install near the license plate. He is refusing to properly mount it. Trying to see if there is a way to get it to the license area. Other than that, he ran the wires I believe through the ceiling area.
Great job again.

Thank you for your video. Very helpful .means safe removal without damaging the light assembly. Cheers Walkaboutwally.
Thanks for the link to Diode Dynamics ! Great stuff !! Just expensive to ship to Canada .
Good review. I just picked up a set of these for the third brake lights for my car.

They work fine as brake lights !!
Did you have any issues with the bulb since you've installed them?
Nope! Been performing great as far I know. Only had an issue with one interior bulb but got it replaced under warranty within three days.
I'm still waiting on the fog lights dude lol, I think that we're gonna have to remove the whole bumper to get to em

Oh and the reverse lights should take all of 5 minutes total. lol
Thanks👍
Hey man can you make a video on how to change the Leds from inside the car and license plate thanks

What camera are you using?
+WRB I am using the Sony RX100 M2
Very nice
WRB Yeah I like it for the most part but would like to upgrade to the MIV for the 4K capabilities :)
Have you try changing the reverse lights to LEDs?
Some should be on their way actually! :)
How to take out the top led tail light?
Take the spoiler off and you can unbolt it from there
@@JustinKelly How do i remove the spoiler?
@@matt-i3r6w Unbolt it from the top of the hatch. There are 4-5 nuts holding it on some under grommets, some under the plastic trim.
