- In this episode we start to inspect and prepare the chassis. We rust convert the crusty bits using a range of products we found the Hammerite kurust to perform the best. Get it here: amzn.to/2AA3ntU
We also release the rear axel, ready to remove the axles from the chassis. The rear crossmember has definitely had its day and we will replace this with a rear end chassis replacement piece as soon as our new welder arrives.

Too true...so close especially if we want to buy anything for the truck 😂 we of course will film everything, the question is whether the defender makes it to Italy, rather than wether we keep filming or not
