Thanks for this, was deciding which to get but yours and Robert Halls vid have convinced me the Holdfast is worth the $$. It just sucks that shipping it internationally gets even more expensive for us Aussies.
Yes I do. It's been in my bag ever since I made this video. Honestly, you don't lose any versatility at all, haha. At the time I when I purchased this strap I saw another leather moneymaker that had been customized by the photographer...thinking that was a standard model, which it wasn't. Whichever version you buy, you'll be very happy with!
Absolutely! It actually surprised me how little it shifts with only one camera body attached. You will still feel the weight of the camera on whichever side it's attached to, but no, it is not unbalanced at all.
So usually I'm using this strap when shooting on location i.e. at a wedding or event venue/portrait shoot. After setting up my two bodies I'll store my bag(s) elsewhere, where they won't be in the way. You COULD wear a backpack while wearing the strap if you wanted, the strap does lay nice and flat, but it isn't super comfortable.
Do you think a Mamiya RZ67 could be carried relatively comfortably with that? Thanks

Just ordered the same colour, thanks for the review 👍🏻
Do you still use this camera strap and I was curious by what you meant about losing versatility between the leather and the cotton version?

Do you think, that this strap can be used with only one DSLR? I think this look more comfortable than the Solo version. Will it be unbalanced?

I have a buffalo moneymaker. How heavy is the swagg? The buffalo is significantly heavy even for me with 2 D4s and lenses and im 6.5 and 250lbs
Hey thanks for the review. This is really helpful. I've never even thought of this idea before but it could actually be quite helpful.
So where do you carry your bag?

Have both. Prefer the Swagg.
