Hey Czeromedia, I have a 2006 EVO 9 MR, Its completely stock with 18,000 miles on it. I'm 20, and i just keep it in my garage, i use my 240 as a daily. Im not sure where to start, or if i should start and just keep it stock.
ill do a video on how to mod a evo 101. but damn congrats on the sweet choice of cars :) i would do simple boltons on the evo if i were u

447 engine 391whp on 1.7bar thats around 23psi boost .
mine was the fq340 version. amazing response and fully boost till the end of each gear a proper supercar killer i destroyed even a 600cc my cousin's stock just a yoshi exhaust not titanium bold on ,yamaha r6.
if u go evo mods do few but dont go cheap. especially on ecu, turbo and exhaust department.
Personally If i was you I would keep it stock unless it needs anything fixed. I got a feeling in the future evo's will be desired and a stock one would be hard to come by. I own a 2001 Evo 7 GSR, I would of liked to kept it stock, but It needed work done, due to rust, new suspension and put in a Turbo back exhaust.

Buschur 272's. Part of it could be your tune or even what RPM your idle is set at. If your idle is set a little higher it won't be lopey.
Idle at 800, S2 cams, tuned by English racing.

That's why it's called a "custom tune" it adjusts itself for such factors. Similar to an e85 flex tune where you can run any percentage of ethanol and the tune detects it and changes the time appropriately.
Do you know if an FP Black would work on an STi? And on your Evo would you say it's reliable?

whats the point in having a cutout with a full exhaust? kinda curious i had a cutout on my evo but it was because i wanted it to be quiet and not attract unwanted attention.

That's a long first gear, my subaru requires shifting much earlier.
First gear hits 41ish, 2nd hits 63ish... all depends really where your rev limits have been set, gear ratio, and what size wheels you have
