I love PH, it’s top 5 in Vegas for me. Restaurants, shopping, gaming, awesome party vibes all located in the middle of the strip! what more could you ask for? Get a room with a fountain view or a suite and you’ll be hooked

PH is one of my favorite places. Center Strip, Miracle Mile Shops, with reasonable dining and shopping and you can’t go wrong.

Ceasars properties loves that early check in fee. I declined that service at Cesar's Palace and they still texted me about 20 minutes later stating that my room was ready. Still was an early check in. Not once have they tried to charge me an early check in fee at MGM properties.

Wow that Kiosk that sells those Massage Guns is a total rip off! I got mine at Dick's Sporting Goods for $150! & you can find it on Amazon for a little over $100 as well. great video pompsie! keep it up

Hi Pompsie...I love staying at Planet Hollywood (old Alladin) when I visit Vegas. That vacant floor that you discovered is reserved for organized poker tournaments. It gets pretty crowded during those times. I have stayed in the exact room as yours and that film on the window is an advertisement, it's not in every room. I agree that PH could be on the top ten list, Miracle Mile, middle of the strip and excellent view of the strip...unless you get pool side. I love PH...thanks for sharing Pompsie.

The film on the window was the billboard on the front of the building. Just like when they put advertising on a city bus windows but you can still see through it.
my 1st stay in vegas in 2013 was Planet Hollywood picked by a travel agent, had no regrets an amazing place to stay recommend to anyone

We recently switched our next trip from Mirage to PH. Both great but you just can not beat the most perfect location ever at Planet Hollywood. The vibe is also extra exciting and fun, and it’s my GFs first time I really want her to feel that Vegas energy. Also, big reason is you actually get an empty fridge! This is a huge downside IMO to MGM properties. How has the mini bar not gotten phased out? We want to have our own cold drinks and put leftover food in there. There is also more restaurant options near PH especially more cheap eats, another huge plus for PH (Secret Pizza across the street at Cosmo!) The pool isn’t as good as Mirage but we live in Florida we don’t need that to blow us away lol the room at PH we got is always much larger, and the bathroom is at least twice the size of Mirage bathroom.
We stayed at Planet Hollywood years ago. It was nice, it was being redecorated at the time. The bathtub is a real deep nice soaker tub. Nice if you have been walking all day or night. Or room had a Spaceballs theme.
Next time try the sampler that looks like the high roller @Cafe Hollywood. Pretty good!

Merry Christmas Pompsie! Finally a vlog of my favorite hotel & casino center strip! I've been staying @PlanetHollywood since it was the Aladdin (2004) & commented on your previous vlog the PH should be on your top 10 list replacing New York New York! PH location is perfect surrounded by the Cosmo and Bellagio water fountains as well a plethora of "cheap eats"! PH has a "younger / party vide" with as many as 2 Starbucks locations including the Miracle Mile shops. Excellent room options varying in size and an adult swimming area! Checks all the boxes and highly recommend. Thanks for reviewing this underrated gem of sin city!
Any thoughts on the adjoining door and noises that come from them in general? How about the hotel charging a full resort fee yet having the pool closed for the season?

Before the Rona it was a fun place. It's the younger, hip crowd vs some of the other hotels in Vegas. Cosmo has a more upscale young crowd, but for those on a middle class budget, Planet Hollywood Hotel is a solid choice.

Anytime you have those exterior hotel advertisements, this is the product they use on the windows. Same for bus lines :)

I stayed at the planet and got a great upgrade to a suite for $20, the bathroom was great, the bath could’ve fit two in,shame I was lone.
About that giant vacant space, that's pretty much the thing about Vegas that blows my mind the most: just the enormity of the square footage under roof. I attended a 3 day convention at The Venetian a few years ago, and the space there is just bonkers. There's an area that's got like 5-6 enormous ballrooms on a single floor, averaging like 30-40 thousand sq ft each, and that floor plan is replicated across 5 floors connected by super tall escalators. I found a bench tucked away in that chasm and I couldn't have been within like 2,000 feet of another human being. It's just surreal to think all the major properties have similar setups. Like, who vacuums that??? 😄
i think the black film you had on your window , was most likely part of a sign, or mural on the outside of the buildiong.

I was there when it was the newly built Aladdin. It used to be advertised that you were no more than several rooms away from the nearest elevator, is that still true?
