I really appreciate all of you for helping support me and the channel. It's amazing that I was able to creatively express a terrible moment in my life and it actually made a big difference. The Cosmo actually completely changed their policies regarding vloggers and content creation at their properties because of my first Cosmo video. Incredible. So happy to see them make a change and treat you right. My wife and I LOVE the Cosmopolitan. It's easily our favorite place for food, coffee, and gambling. The only thing it's missing is a poker room!
My wife and I still won't stay there when that's how they treat people. They made things right because of his fame and so they can get some free PR from it, but they would never do this for an average person.

Absolutely right. This video doesn’t change the fact that if you stay at the Cosmopolitan, you’re going to be treated like a convict. Maybe it’s just me but when I’m on vacation and paying hard earned money, I want to be treated like a guest. Crazy, right? I couldn’t recommend that place to anybody. Now, pull up your mask, go through the special entrance, go through the metal detector, get your temperature taken, and have a blast. (Don’t take any pictures, and pull up the mask between sips of that drink). Wheee!
You're absolutely right! I'm glad that they reached out to Pompsie because he's a great guy BUT they wouldn't have done the same for you or me since we don't have a TH-cam following. The manager should have appeared on camera and apologized and really explained that they changed their policy - THEN I might have been OK to stay here, but not now!
@Scott Wilson Honestly...you make a very valid point. I do appreciate that the Cosmopolitan reached out to Pompsie and went above and beyond to make things right. Based on the way Pompsie was treated with an iron fist, and summarily issued a trespass warning for life, leaves little doubt in my mind that he was far from the first person banned from the Cosmo for the same reason. So the true test is whether or not Cosmo is contacting, apologizing, and rescinding all trespasses to those who experienced a similar fate.
It's really that simple. Be honest. Look at Domino's pizza. They admitted, hey our pizza was shit. We've changed. Now they're stock is through the roof because they listened and made changes. Gotta adapt.
Or maybe they are just slow. I respect him and his channel. Nobody deserves to be treated bad. Always remember though they have tons of customers. It was a good marketing ploy for them. The only issue is that when companies do this its cause more people to expect this treatment when they have issues.

Cannot agree more to Paul's statement! The influence is exponential. Glad that Mr. "Marcus" President realized that, and did the right thing. As only a 2 time visitor to Vegas, this is the type of information that truly drives my decisions and choices for what to do and where to spend my money.
I'm still never going I really hated their abrupt poor treatment. They made it right with him, sure, but us regular people are still at risk for the same terrible treatment 😕 😬

I don’t know what to think about this video. My Cosmo experience last summer was pretty bad and I regretted staying there. The Cosmo could give me a week free there and I don’t think I could enjoy it like this guy seems to be. I wonder if they paid him to shoot an overly positive video for them.

She was very detailed and took pride in her work. The way she manages her staff and ensures the quality of her teams work was something I took with me as a learning experience.
53K subs is nothing in a youtube world where teenage girls have 13 million subs and 20 million views just to watch how they put on their makeup. I think that the most likely scenario is that pomsie in all his conversations with the Cosmo, hit on the right person who had the ear of upper management. This is not Ocean's 13 and security can find a better way to handle a situation like this. This guy seems obviously afraid and even if he was not following Cosmo policy, there should have been a more caring explanation to him by security.

And it’s not the subscriber count necessarily that matters but his channel is growing exponentially

Wrong. They are only trying to fix it because it gained steam on the internet. Doubt Cosmo has changed the way they handle guest and the way they run their customer service
People make mistakes and maybe this whole ordeal forced the Cosmo to re-examine the way it does business. Vlogging is not something most people do, and therefore I’m sure businesses don’t always know how to react when someone comes in armed with a camera. For me, I’ll be the judge of their customer service when I visit. All I’m saying is, cut them some slack.
I was surrounded by 8 security guards last night for trying to go to a guests room to show them card magic because my briefcase "looked like it could contain professional camera equipment". We were paraded through the casino like criminals and scolded for not clearing it with security first. Card tricks. In a guests room.

I would just like to add Pompsie that even though you were treated disrespectfully from their staff that you in turn respected them. You didn't make a big scene, you shared your story. I have noticed you don't really bash places you visit and I believe that it is your good attitude that helped your cause. The cosmopolitan is absolutely classy. They have never disappointed. Always always on top of their game. I’m going to stay again next month. Absolutely always treat people well.

Vlogging is not something most people do, and therefore I’m sure businesses don’t always know how to react when someone comes in armed with a camera. For me, I’ll be the judge of their customer service when I visit. All I’m saying is, cut them some slack.

I was surrounded by 8 security guards last night for trying to go to a guests room to show them card magic because my briefcase "looked like it could contain professional camera equipment". We were paraded through the casino like criminals and scolded for not clearing it with security first. Card tricks. In a guests room.
As they should would Cosmo would of lost a lot of customers me as one. Now I may stay again.

I had a great time at the place and just couldn't fathom or process it. I'm glad the Cosmo made amends and went above and beyond for you all. I would just like to add Pompsie that even though you were treated disrespectfully from their staff that you in turn respected them. You didn't make a big scene, you shared your story. I have noticed you don't really bash places you visit and I believe that it is your good attitude that helped your cause. I am glad they changed their attitude toward you and that it helped to change some of their policies or rules. Thumbs up bud.
Hell yeah! You deserved this, Mr. Pomparelli. I had my reservations about that hotel after your bad experience, who wants to go to such a place where you can't record your experience, but I'll give them a chance now that they did you right.
The cosmopolitan is absolutely classy. They have never disappointed. Always always on top of their game. I’m going to stay again next month. Absolutely always treat people well.
And two years later looking in from Ireland so happy you got to enjoy such a lovely place to to stay what a very wise manager to correct everything make it fun again such a good vibe the second time around .
